I wonder how Yu-Gi-Oh characters would break into their own homes should the need arise. (Kaiba would have a very easy time or a very hard time depending on when this happened. XD)
Yugi’s grandpa keeps a spare key under the mat or in a potted plant by the door and just trusts that no one will ever use it besides Yugi so Yugi doesn’t actually have to break in.
Téa keeps a spare key to her house with her at all times just in case, but if she did have to break in she’d either pick the lock with a hairpin or gymnastic her way up to the second floor and open an unlocked window that she keeps unlocked for this reason (also she apparently has a two story house I’ve decided lol)
Joey would try unsuccessfully to jimmy the lock with a credit card or his id, probably snap it off and end up just going around back and reluctantly breaking his own kitchen window to climb through or pull on his back door so hard he splinters the frame and it comes open.
Tristan would go get a crowbar, remove the entire frame of window, glass and all and then just put it back later OR he’d unscrew the hinges to his front door and take that off and also just put it back.
I like to imagine Duke would also hairpin his way back into his house if necessary
Ryou would just call his landlord or a locksmith for help and then politely wait to be let in.
