#*jo march voice* I just– I just feel like... women!#I honestly think the character of charlotte is a great example of how the representation of women evolves throughout the show#she's first mentioned in the pilot when logan tells silver to shut up so he can go to “the arms of my sweet sweet charlotte” and you think#'ok throwaway line about a random faceless woman to establish that these guys like fucking women hetero style' and then series 2 comes#and you actually see charlotte! she likes drawing. she's friends with jack. little chance you even connect her to that line in series 1.#then jack asks her about logan and it's like 'oh this relationship matters and is relevant to the plot'. she is relevant to the plot.#so then when anne kills her it carries some weight. she's not just an anonymous scantily clad body in the room.#and then at the end of series 2 mrs mapleton (another woman) tells eleanor (a woman) that she's suspicious of max (woman) because charlotte#kept her savings with mapleton because she didn't trust the other girls and she wouldn't have left town without it. and it's like oh yeah!#all of these women have motivations and thoughts and relationships with each other.#and then you get this glorious scene. with yet more women. two series later and charlotte isn't forgotten! she had friends who mourned her.#her death informed character motivations that still impact the plot.#even in the last shot of the whole show. the flag is based on charlotte's design. all that talk of legacy and it traces back to her.#she's a very minor character it's not like she has a whole arc. but she so easily could've just been a nameless prostitute who only exists#to be sexualised then gratuitously killed and then never mentioned again. but she is a character. a person. and her life mattered!#oh black sails the show that you are

“You are the bravest person I have ever known. You are the truest person I have ever known. And I betrayed you and it sickens me. I am so sorry for protecting the wrong things. I am sorry for not seeing there is nothing important that does not include you” - and there I go SOBBING
and to think im never going to see the lesbian avengers assembled in this line up again
the pitt teaches us valuable lessons like if ur toxic lesbian situationship isnt working out theres always a blonde autistic woman
al-hashimi's breakdown in the car after she started driving and then stopped is so, so real if you know what it's like to deal with a chronic and disabling health condition, especially if it's one that you've had under control for a long time that flares up suddenly. you see her realize in real time that she was in denial before about being fine and that she isn't okay and her disability has flared up and she can't keep going about her daily life the same way she has for years up to that point. it's a loss of control that's hard to describe to people who haven't experienced something similar. the silent breakdown as she realizes this condition that she's been managing without serious issue is back in a new and unexpected way and it's disrupting her life and her routines and she doesn't know why is such a specific, frustrating, disorienting, and sometimes even humiliating feeling and I can't believe sepideh moafi conveyed all of that without saying a single word
THE PITT 2x15 do no harm
Samira Mohan and Heather Collins — The Pitt Season 1 Episode 5
tell me you had the day from hell without telling me you had the day from hell
why did that finale have so many nasty, mean spirited moments that were just unforced errors of the writing. javadi who’s going into PSYCH saying that about mel, robby screaming at baran, samira apologizing to robby, the lawyer calling ellis as PITBULL, digby being “crazy” etc etc etc a whimper instead of a bang. some of the most miserable television writing i’ve seen in awhile i actually didn’t think they could sink this low
