So i recently read the short story I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream…and devised a bit of an AU. Thinking of making an ask blog about it.

I’m calling it the AM Robot AU since…yeah that’s exactly what it is. Info for it is below the cut!

Essentially, my oc:

(the body proportions are all fucked in this image, he looks a lot less like a child in canon cause he’s…25)

My oc, Matt Delaney has two dreams on different nights. One: about a sentient AI named AM killing everyone except 5 people. Two: a robot body inside a government facility.

So Matt thinks: “Hey! Kill two birds with one stone!” and BREAKS INTO A GOVERNMENT FACILITY, STEALS THE ROBOT BODY HE DREAMED ABOUT, AND SINCE THE GOVERNMENT FACILITY HAS A BRANCH OF AM, GIVES HIM ACCESS TO THE BODY.

MAY I ADD MATT IS COMPLETELY INSANE?

So AM gets a physical body, but still hates the rest of humanity for not.

Here’s his design in my AU btw:

His face is a screen, not a physical face, but it wraps around the majority of the head. Also ignore the fact I forgot his neck USB port in the second image-

This AU has it so this all takes place in mid-2022 instead of like- the ‘60s or ‘70s.

So, AM still hates all humanity except for Matt because Matt gave him a body and also provides entertainment with his complete insanity.

So…should I make this an ask blog? You’d be mostly talking to Robot!AM.

Hi! breaking character on both fronts to ask a question of the creator:

Would you be alright with me making a comic dub of this with a couple friends (and the TTS Kinito voice for Kinito, lol)? It would probably be uploaded to YT (Keep in mind rn I only have a single video and it’s of a KinitoPET fan song LMFAO).

I’d obviously have story-stuff and non-story-stuff as separate sections so it makes more sense, but I just wanted to know if you’d be comfy with it.
