i wish people would talk more about this part of the first intro. it goes SO HARD

and idk why it grabs my attention so much. maybe it's the raw energy. maybe it's the facial expressions and the animation that goes with them. maybe it's the symbolism of the crackling line between them, representing the tension and frustration they feel for each other every day. maybe it's the abrupt turn, the bubbling climax to millions of angry and confusing thoughts building inside with no healthy escape, the clash between two opposing individuals that are forced to confront their past because at some point, whether they like it or not, they'll have to hash it out. they can't stay on opposite ends forever. they have too much in common than they can comprehend
