Gonna do all these sunflowers first (on the inbox grind haha). Anyhoo hello!! Thank you so much for sending this in <3 And for you I give some christrev headcanos (for pride month obvs).
Chris isn't one for using nicknames, however will slip in a 'darling' etc when he is either in a state of panic or intoxication. He can't do it in a normal dituation because my guy is a worrier and would over think it.
Trevor really hates when he gets angry and has worked a lot on his anger and not immediately resorting to some method of violence (not against Chris, obvs, but rather, storming outside and kicking over a bin or punching a wall etc). He and Chris almost have a system for when they get into proper arguments where they will just glare at each other after the yelling spat and then just each exchange a very low 'I love you' in assurance before sitting in seperate rooms for a while, doing their own thing and cooling off. They'll reconvene later with either a snack of some sort or a drink and have a proper discussion but yeah I think it's a system they've found that works for them. I love arguing christrev <3
Oooh actually what if I did a pride thing?? Okay wait this could go wrong: Christrev first pride, an attempted short piece by me :)
Trevor had already lost him. How the fuck had he already lost him. They'd only just got here, they'd been to the bloody tent and the butch had given them their bloody wrist bands, now where the fuck had Chris gone?
This was a bad idea. Chris had been so nervous about coming to Cornley's make-shift pride festival, but Trevor had some mates who worked at the Closet running the drinks tent so of course he wanted to go. He'd told Chris he didn't need to do anything he didn't want to, just to tick off some gay bucket list but before he could get a word in Chris was talking himself into it. Something or other about 'small town reputation' came out of the daft sod's mouth and Trevor knew he had lost the fight for reason again. The second Chris convinced himself something was good for appearances, whether it was for the theatre or for Trevor in the face of his friends wasn't very clear to the stage-manager in this particular case but then again he wasn't sure it was clear to the director either. He just had that manic spark in his eyes and he was already trying to pick the best scarf from his collection for the trip.
And now Trevor found his eyes flicking from kneck to kneck, looking for the plum purple one the director had eventually selected. There was a fair few feather boas, lei and one or two dog collars but not a tasteful scarf in sight. Jesus. He could be anywhere. Trampled by platform heels, knocked out by a flag pole or maybe self-combusted after seeing some of the outfits people saved until June, he was much too proper for most of what Trevor thought were the best ones.
The stagemanager's heavy boots kicked up dust from the sun-dried ground as he pushed his way through the crowds. Like loosing his best screwdriver, he tried to think of the last place he'd put his boyfriend. He definitely remembered standing beside him as they got their wristbands, that was way back at the welcome tent though there was no way-
His feet carved into the crushed remnants of grass beneath him as his eyes caught a purple highlight on the edge of his vision. Assuming he was competent enough not to have immediately lost the things that meant most to him, he'd been in the middle of storming his way to some of the small busines stalls on the far side of the welcome tent. He shouldn't have had such a high expectation for himself it turns out because there Chris was, stood stock-still by the wall to the tent's entrance.
As it had been for the last few minutes, Trevor's mind assumed the worst. Another panic attack, an instant regret for ever coming here, a realisation that maybe all this gay shit wasn't for him and he should leave Trevor and run off with Robert's sister and-
But no. As he approached, the stagemanager's pace slowed and he assessed the situation for what it really was. Chris, standing in the middle of this colourful, overwhelming, purposefully too-much celebration, staring completely dumbfounded at his own wrist. The realisation actually made Trevor smile and he sidled up beside the director. The man didn't even seem to notice.
"Pretty cool, ain't it?" Trevor eventually spoke, taking the time to look down at his own corresponding wristband. Intricate, rainbow patterning, curving like a banner around it and the words 'Cornley 2026' emblazzoned in bright white font in the centre.
Chris jumped at the noise and his eyes finally left the band, a little misty. His cheeks flushed at the realisation that he had just been transfixed by a paper piece of jewellry, but Trevor didn't let him panic. Instead he just grinned over to this strange, beautiful man, and took his band-wearing hand with his own.
"Ready?"
The director looked back for a moment, completely serious and after a couple big breaths nodded, brimming with determination and, if Trevor wasn't wrong, some excitement.
"Yes."
OMG I DID IT!!! OKAY WOW! Well, I hope you liked that. That was all stream of consciousness and very rushed, so I'm sorry if it sucks. Thanks again for the ask and HAPPY PRIDE!!!
As a huge fan of Take A Chance Like All Dreamers: 🥹 🤡 🧠 (though these do not need to be about that fic)
UAGH goodness, you do not mean that surely 🫶
🥺 Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels?
Ough. Sleepy christrev never fails to get me emotional. I've not written anywhere nearly enough. But the inherent vulnerability of sleeping in someone's arms and trusting them to take care of you. OUGH‼️ 💕
🤡 What's a line, scene, or exchange you've written that made you laugh?
Oh so so many. I think I'm so funny. I'll pick my favourite 5.
He becomes distantly aware that Sandra has just held up one of the numbers. He remembers laying out all of the sound cues with their little signs, but with not enough care to have memorised them. Which makes sense. That’s why they’re numbered, he thinks smugly to himself.
Apparently the horse is homophobic.
Something gay is occurring, and he’s not just talking about Chris’ hand on his thigh-
“How far away’s your flat?” Chris asks, mentally trying to work out where they actually are. “Tha’ way,” Trevor says, extending a wobbly arm into the distance. Annie reaches over and adjusts the direction he’s pointing about 90 degrees. “Tha’ way,” Trevor repeats, confidently setting off, swinging his and Chris’ arms together.
And fluttering his eyes open, he finds Trevor having somehow contorted himself into an ungodly position in the middle of the night, somehow still cuddling Chris, with his legs folding in ways that should be impossible, his chest still facing Chris, his shoulders twisted the other way, and his face somehow buried in the pillow. Chris notices his mouth hanging open and a little damp patch on the pillow as he makes another inhale that somewhat resembles that of an asthmatic llama.
🧠 Pick a character, and I'll tell you my favorite headcanon for them.
I can't really choose Trevor, because we already know my favourite headcanon for him (🏳️⚧️) and I have talked about it at great lengths. And yet, all my thoughts are about Trevor to be honest. And I actually don't know if there are any I haven't already shared. The big three I have for him are: trans guy, ADHD, and hypermobile. And then there's just so so many tiny ones. So, I'll share a random one: His favourite kind of animals are canids 🐺 🦊 🐶
🌻
Ooooh I'm loving this, thank you!

Anyone else ever stop and think about just how weird the in-universe explanation for mischief movie night is? So you want to go to the cinema, but you dont feel like watching any of the new big name releases, and indie cinemas doing re-runs still aren't quite personalised and obscure enough for you.
So instead, you, and an audience of about 100 other people, simultaneously decide to turn up at the house of autism-man™, who invites all of you into his home cinema, and gives you a pop-quiz of open ended questions, for which, regardless of the specificity and absurdity of your answers, he garuntees he owns a dvd.
And this goes right down to the title of the movie. So this man, or person cus sometimes you go to Emmy's house instead, for, variety? ig? has, for every possible movie title, a film of every possible genre, in every possible location, etc etc.
Then as if that wasn't enough, they're running some sort of mentalism stich, and reveal to the audience that they knew in advance which movie they were going to vote for (because lets not forget that theres a democracy angle to all this), and had in fact decided on it the night before, when they loaded it into their dvd player to begin with.
What on earth are the implications of all this? Are there plants in the audience to suggest the genres and titles they want? Do they invite stooges to their own house?? Is their home cinema really open entry?? If it was invite-only surely they wouldn't feel the need to introduce themself to the audience.
They then spend the entire movie pausing to give comments on the actors and fun facts about the production, not to mention cutting randomly to directors cuts and other short films. You know, the optimum viewing experience. And the audience loves it, some of them have seen the film before, certainly many of them come back over to their house over and over again, and nobody ever asks for a film they've seen before! The audience are always ravenous for something new and obscure, but really, they're there for Oscar
trevor watson i love you
Mischief folks need to stop posting about the Spies pro shot and just release it already
Do you think that others in the drama society invite their parents to come and see some of the plays? I imagine that most of the parents are quite proud of their kid even with some of the worst blunders and mishaps. Do you think Chris gets a little jealous of the other society members for having the support he’s always wanted but can’t seem to get?
Thanks for the ask, sorry this took me so long to answer!!
I think that yes, most members do invite their families (which I over yap about below) and I’m sure Chris definitely gets jealous, but I don’t think he realizes it’s jealousy. I’ve always thought he doesn’t realize how bad his relationship with his parents is because it’s what he has always known. Near the end of the Play of the Week, he is definitely starting to realize something is off, but not enough for him to understand that what he’s feeling is jealousy. So I think he gets uncomfortable when others bring their parents and he rationalizes it with other annoyances.
My over yapping about who does and does not bring their parents/families to their shows:
Max: Max’s aunt definitely comes to shows! Even after the PPGW fiasco, his aunt is still very supportive of Max’s love of theater, and will sometimes even donate a little here or there to help out. Sometimes the rest of his family will come too. My (probably unpopular head cannon) about Max is that he gives off the energy of someone who is around little kids a lot, so I feel like he and Sandra will take either his niblings or younger cousins (I can’t decide what relationship they have to Max, just that they are family and they are younger, like 6-12ish) out on weekends. When the content is appropriate, those kids will come to the show, and Max will purposefully break the 4th wall even more during those shows to entertain his younger family members. Chris is definitely jealous when Max’s aunt comes to shows as she’s so supportive, but he is more annoyed when the rest of the family comes, as Max is an even worse on stage when they are there.
Sandra: Sandra’s parents definitely come to shows! They must support their precious and perfect daughter. Chris rationalizes his jealousy by saying he’s annoyed as Sandra demands even more of the spotlight when her parents are in the audience.
Vanessa: I don’t think her parents come to shows. I don’t think they are very supportive of her theater career, they continue to tell her they want her to go back to the job she was working before joining the drama society. She always invites them in hopes they will change their mind but they think coming will show they are supportive, so they decline every time.
Robert: Robert’s family definitely comes to shows. We know he really wanted his son to come to CCGW, and it’s Robert, there’s no way he isn’t inviting his parents and they always come to support their special boy. Chris is jealous of this, but rationalizes it because he gets annoyed as Robert will be even more insistent on playing the lead whenever his parents are there.
Dennis: Dennis does not invite his family because he is nervous of what they will think of him. He is so scared he will mess up during the play and they won’t talk to him again because of it. This is untrue, his parents would be supportive of him putting himself out there on stage, but Dennis does not believe anyone who tells him that.
Trevor: Trevor does not invite his parents to the shows. They are not supportive of him continuing with the drama society. His sisters do sometimes come if they are in town and they are supportive. Chris isn’t as jealous of this as he is an only child and doesn’t really understand what it’s like to have siblings and doesn’t think that that is a type of love that he needs.
Annie: Even when she worked as a stage manager, Annie was inviting her parents to shows and they were supportive. They were some of the people who encouraged her to go more into acting after Haversham, and attend at least one performance of every play the society has put on. I think Annie’s parents are what cause Chris to maybe start realizing he is feeling jealousy, cause Annie will give the same performance whether her parents are there or not, so there’s no other reason for Chris to be annoyed.
Jonathon: I think during Haversham and Peter Pan, Jonathon invited his parents but after the Peter Pan fiasco, he stopped inviting them as he didn’t like how many questions he got about his love life after the show. He wanted to put it behind him but his parents kept bringing it up, and so Jonathon didn’t invite them to any more shows as he wasn’t sure if any more secrets would be spilled.
This picture held so many secrets, we didn’t even know what was coming
I love that ellie still knows jack shit about dnd FOUR YEARS into a ttrpg podcast <3

Thinking about how Chris Bean needs the shows to go right to prove to his parents this is a worthy career path. He keeps trying again and again to have one production go right, but none of them ever do, and his parents are just getting more and more disappointed in him.
hell or high rollers nation, what does bobbin look like?
He’s a purple creature??? I think??? Not sure we got loads of description tbh
yeah that's all we know
Bobbin was in the episode drawing! He’s just a little purple guy with wings
