Writing progress...

The Dess/Reader nonsensical smut is written and got a biiiit out of hand from the original plan of being a oneshot... now I just need to edit it and then I'm just pouring it all out at once pff.

Chara/Reader longfic ending is also making good progress, but that'll still take a bit longer:

I can't WAIT till I'm done with the Chara/Reader mainfic and can just write a bunch of nonsensical extra stories/post them without worrying about any continuity of previous plot points tehehe. Also in case anyone of you realized an earlier mentioned plotpoint that I kind of didn't continue in the mainfic anymore, that one's getting its own side-story focus cough.

I don't think anyone even knows what I am talking about though cough. If anyone remembers that one person who approached Chara and Reader in the university mentioning their date... that one. I decided to scrap including what I had planned there in the main fic because it just got too long-winded. That'll have its own small side-story at some point...

Took a break after finalizing some of the writing for my current longfic, ended up randomly simping for some Dess art at 3am, now I'm 6k words into a reader/Dess oneshot. Somebody stop me from sidetracking??? Lmfao.

Random into the void shouted funfact, I originally planned t name "Top of the Class, Bottom of the Heart" as "Determined to Break" instead, and it was supposed to be insanely angsty.

When I actually wrote and draw stuff about Chara though, I fell back into the simp hole and just wanted to write them being happy with Reader-Insert, lol. That's also why there were some more angsty tags when there was only one chapter, and I removed most of them like 2-3 chapters in :p

I just realized that while writing the ending chapters, cuz they are a bit more angsty, but nothing compared to what I usually consider "angst".

I do sometimes still wanna write the more angsty chapter ideas I had in mind, but they don't work with the Reader insert I established at this point, cuz the chapters would need them to be much less observant and careful around Chara. And they already had their character development of not assuming things about Chara when it came to that whole cheating on exam stuff, lmao.

Maybe I'll figure it out some day. Or maybe I won't. For the time being, the ideas are sitting in the abyss and Chara's black goop nasty crying scenes are far from reach. I def want to write that though.

On that note, current worktitles of the last chapters spoiler or smth. Doubt they'll actually end up being the real names tho. :>
