the stingrays at the touch tank just now were acting pretty cautious around the people reaching in, getting really close but staying juuuust too far for anyone to touch, and this ten year old boy in a fnaf tshirt told me, exasperated, "the stingrays are ragebaiting us!!"

proposing a new genre of fiction called an anti-romance where u r presented w a couple at the start & the story is about their emotional journey towards a catastrophic break up

will they won't they (end this farce). there's only one bed (but for some reason they don't really want to share it). out of context eavesdropping (that paints the relationship in a better light than it deserves). chasing after them to stop them getting on that plane (and stopping them from finally being free)

nobody understands my vision i don't mean any old story where a relationship fails and it's tragic or w/e i mean a story where the intention is for the audience to root for it failing the same way u root for it succeeding in a romance. & when the relationship finally implodes at the climax of the story it's all very cathartic & everybody cheers.

I think the less gods in 40k the better. I have a very limited interest in "gods did it" as narrative explanation within the 40k setting. It is, frankly, boring.

theres an assumption that if an alien has an alien gender system they wouldnt understand homophobia but maybe they just have their own more complex version of homophobia. alien society with eight genders and a horribly complex web of what is considered socially acceptable that makes the gender binary look like easy mode. i'm inventing homophobia 2 and it's terrible.

I think D&D5E should bring back randomly determined tiefling features from 2E, but populate the list entirely with features associated with half-demon characters from contemporary popular media. By a strict reading of the relevant tables ten percent of all tieflings have butt wings.
