explaining why the concept of head and heart is ridiculous

it has a connotation of dependence, since a human cannot survive with only one or the other, but needs both. therefore one of the characters being the heart and the other the head indicates that they need each other for survival. this idea of dependence is absolutely toxic since every healthy and successful relationship has two adults who are completely capable of survival without the other.

a relationship requires two whole being, not two halves. it was best said by Meredith grey to Derek shepherd; “I can live without you, I just don’t want to.”

Meredith had head and heart, granted she needed help accessing heart, she still had both without Derek and so did Derek, he had both, so they worked.

Stiles and Lydia were both independently head and heart, they didn’t work because they completed each other, they worked because they pushed and understood one another but were still independent.

Clarke is as we all know more head and Bellamy is more heart, they both haven’t grown enough to have both when they interact with each other. it’s toxic. however, Echo has been shown to have evolved to have both on her own and with her, Bellamy seems to have too, Becho don’t need one another, that’s slightly healthier (albeit it could be better).

a prime example are Lincoln and O, Lincoln had both head and heart, and when O met him she was mostly heart, she then grew into having both, they were independent people, but they wanted each other. 

Head and heart is bullshit, it doesn’t work, soulmates aren’t halves waiting to be completed, they are wholes waiting to meet their match.

- Echo was actually the best player of them all, because she was taught in Azgeda but also because (as she annoyingly -according to murphy- keeps saying, “i have been in wars, this is like that). She has kicked all their asses and yet there was the one time when Murphy won, and Harper threw him a party.

- Bellamy is good but keeps losing on purpose and everyone can see it, he wants them all to be happy so he loses just to see them excited. He started doing it because while he was teaching Emori (who is the only one who doesn’t really know how to play), he let her win once and she was so happy, running to tell everyone that it made Bellamy start to let everyone win.

- Raven notices that Bellamy does that, and starts getting mad at him whenever he does it, but Bellamy loves how pissed she gets so they both end up laughing.

- Monty and Echo once played together for about three hours while the rest watched, they eventually all fell asleep watching and the game ended with Montu falling asleep ontop of the board (Echo also ended up putting blankets over all her dorks)

- Raven and Murphy invented their own chess game, where they basically just move their chess pieces according to the shapes they have (murphy says the knight looks like a horse so he must jump over other pieces and trample them down. raven says the rook looks like a a bomb so if it moves, everything around it goes boom)

- Harper and Emori have taken up to setting simultaneous chess matches which have turned onto tournaments. Echo and Monty are reigning champions. But according to Bellamy? Emori is.

- Bellamy and Echo are the ones who brought the chess out in the first place, Echo had been affectionately teaching her dork boyfriend to play it when she suggested letting the others play. Letting their family play. Bellamy couldnt believe how much he loved her as he agreed

- Raven and Bellamy can be found cleaning up after and nudging each other and laughing. They were also found in front of their window, Bellamy saying “you think you can beat me reyes?” And raven saying “always”

BECHO FANS (and becho haters cause somehow you keep misreading this):

THIS IS ME CLARIFYING THE BECHO SCENE SO TOXIC HATERS DONT MISREAD IT IN BLORKE FAVOR

Bellamy said his weakness was his sister, Echo countered that and said that was actually his strength. So when Bellamy told Echo that her loyalty is a weakness, he also asked her if she could be loyal to them. This shows you that Echo is doing what she is doing for her family and that she has truly heeded Bellamy’s words (so far not one of her kills was unjustified). The necessity of “it is when its making you do the wrong thing” line is to show you that Echo really listened to him.

Also Bellamy’s flaw being his sister is also a type of loyalty, so both Echo and Bellamy’s weakness is loyalty, but since Bellamy turned into strength, so can she. So she did.

Now as for the shape shifter line: thats what you call a spy babes. just saying

The “Bellamy this isn’t real” is Echo (the woman who had no family ever) saying that she believes this family of theirs would shatter on earth. that they would all leave her. BELLAMY KISSES HER TO SHOW HER JUST HOW REAL IT IS.

Also have you seen his face looking at her? Laughing with her? Becho may not be endgame but it is healthier than most ships and you cant say they weren’t in love.

Everyone really thinks Gabriel “do i get a robe” has betrayed skyringkru and i disagree.

Trust Gabriel, he is so so so smart, he is tricking Anders, he is faking that allegiance. Gabriel’s first words in the episode were “Where are my friends?! Echo! Hope! I am sorry!”

Then when asked to say goodbye to Orlando, he said, “Echo and Hope would like that too.”

Gabriel hasn’t joined them for shit, they asked him to join ‘the cipher’ team which is the team levitt is in. GABRIEL IS A DOUBLE AGENT.

One of my favourite things about Lexa was when you saw her, she was this serious looking dangerous woman willing to do anything for her people. She had serious “do not fuck with me” vibes and it was impressive af.

And then she starts talking and her voice is fucking soft and emotional and shit. Sure she can yell and be unforgiving and her tone can be harsh. But the way she spoke to Clarke was soft and caring and that was beautiful.
