I got a new piano! Finally! My old one I bought back in like 2013 broke back in February or something, and I couldn't figure out if it was the power cord that got fried or everything else inside the piano so after almost an entire year, I just got a new one? Amazingly (and if I'm remembering correctly) it didn't cost *that* much more than the one I purchased way back in the day, which for the additional bells and whistles it has is neat. Oh, did I tell y'all I've been learning Korean? 여러분, 안녕하세요! I ended up taking a trip there this past May, and I think I'm going to try to take another trip this April or so. 내, 지금까지 재미있는대요. But also...maybe slightly going to try to write more and get thoughts down, but also maybe use this space to practice things. 한국어로 쓰기는 더 연습해야 돼요, ㅋㅋㅋ. 여러분, 잘 지내요? I hope you've been well, reader.

Hi! Still popping into this place every once in a while, just to see how things used to be. It's wild how much things have changed but also how many things haven't.

Hope you're all still doing well, though. It feels even more rough out there than it was before, ugh.

I think I needed a space to just journal for a bit about how work has been pretty stressful over the past year and a half. Y’know, over the whole...pandemic thing? And healthcare was already stressful before that SO NO BIG DEAL RIGHT  but then I transferred departments and have a way better schedule (not nights, but also not buttcrack of dawn early), and aside for a random bit of insomnia it’s been -- while honestly more busy -- far less stressful? So there’s that.

I might still try to journal more, I’ve found that I’ve been forgetting words more often that I’d use a lot before (lack of use and what not) and also an excerpt regarding Inside by Bo Burnham and some thoughts on it from a Discord converation:

(they described some feelings they had during watching) ...and despair of the future ever marching to a tangent in our lives -- a moment passing -- like two gasses in the night. It was me, I dealt it.

Played it for the second time last year, many years later, and I was amazed about how deep it goes with some themes. War, love, friendship, death… All together with an incredible Art style with some of the best Uematsu themes ever.

For our February vintage-inspired shoot, we wanted to do something a little different - menswear! After a little sleuthing and with the help of photographer Eric Carroll, we put together these looks to bring to life the famous mystery men themselves.
