Lucas Route: Enemies to Lovers
When Lucas comes in and MC and the girls are asking questions she comments on how he seems really posh which we know Lucas doesn’t like
But this man is posh and wealthy (idk if it’s cannon or just me that assumes his whole family is rich too)
So when he gets annoyed at that MC she’s like but you are tho?? Recognize your privilege not everyone has done rowing
Or something like that idk
Lucas still asks MC on a date because he liked them before he came on the show and maybe it was just a one time thing (it wasn’t)
MC picks at his buttons on the date and he finds hers too
From then foward they both bicker all the time
The islanders are like you know when you two argue you don’t have to get so close up to each other
All their interactions are just snarky annoying comments in passing or conversations in groups that turn in to one on one bickering
It’s never like scream match fighting which is why I say bickering because at the end of the day these two really only fight to get a rise out of each other
They don’t couple up right away of course not till... the Disaster Recoupling
“Well I’m sure this Recoupling is going how no one expected so might as well contribute the trend...”
I want to couple up with this girl because I guess you can say we have a lot of banter and I feel like despite our... differences...”
“I had a tiny crush on her before I came onto the show so maybe that means something... The girl I want to couple up with is MC.”
MC literally doesn’t move from her place until one of the girls elbows her slightly and she finally moves toward him.
MC is fuming because now she has to spend more time with him when she could have just stayed in her comfortable platonic couple
They end up chatting on the day beds and Lucas gets her to calm down and not be mad at him for picking her.
“We’re both in friendship couples and that’s not why we’re here. At least between the both of us we have some kind of chemistry.”
“I think it’s called hatred.”
So they’re civil for the rest of the night and then comes the sleeping arrangements
I love an there was only one bed troupe
Despite claiming they will keep to their sides of the bed,
Lucas ends up with an arm around MC, MC’s legs tangled with his, you get the picture
Which is a hilarious sight to the rest of the girls who actually wake up because of the text unlike MC
They wake her up quietly, but tease her in the dressing room endlessly especially since MC wakes him up to tell him she’s leaving
In casa, she should be looking to see who she has a connection with to bring back, but she’s doesn’t find herself in the mood
Then when Lottie reads her tea leaves she hints at that maybe it’s that she misses Lucas
He considered it and is wary because of the video message (So is MC btw)
But he actually wanted to try being in a couple with MC so he sticks
Lucas was super nervous about the stick or switch and Bobby had to calm him down (MC was too obvi)
When they see each other they hug for like the first time ever and everyone is like 👀
They don’t get time to chat for the rest of the night till MC ends up finding Lucas on the rooftop
They sit down together with their knees touching and talk about how they didn’t really want to talk to any of the new islanders
“Wait is the MC trying to say that she missed me?”
They actually end up getting to know each other better the next few days (besides already knowing what the other hates or find annoying)
They actually kill it in the mr & missus challenge
The others islanders tease them and comment on how well they did even when they hated each other a few days later
Lucas and MC try to pass it off as that it was just a coincidence or the other was just predictable
Neither says I love you or anything like that but they talk more about how they trust one another and that they want to continue their relationship outside the Villa
This might be a little ooc for MC but it’s cause I lowkey have an OC for this but I don’t know if I can do it justice if I write a fic for this.
