Until y’know, I SAW THE TEASERS AND TRAILERS AND AAHH SEASON TWO!! I absolutely loved it?? I was literally laughing then crying, raging at my screen then happy again — LIKE THE MOODSWINGS WERE CRAZY

This is the last of the main characters in Bagel and Jam

Meet Bonnie Lemons, she is Afro Honduran who runs a small lemonade company in her small human town, she is one of Jams only friends, being one of the only people willing to listen and be interested in Jam’s love for monsters and wildlife.

She’s an A+ student with a real love for running and helping around the town wherever she can, she doesn’t have a hate for monsters like her people but she can’t help but be a bit cautious around them like the rest of the town goers.

Bonnie Lemons is actually one of my favorites but she was surprisingly one of the characters that took the most redesigning before I land on the name and vibe that she gives off now! She has had many names from Samira to Nayara, with VERY different styles of clothes.

I even had to work with my girlfriend (who is Honduran) to help me out because of how much trouble her design was giving me, being one of the reasons I put off the comic since I haven’t made a design I liked until now!

I will be posting more art of her after I do a bit more research on Honduran culture and their lifestyle’s and clothes before anything, I want to make sure I get any and all representation in my comic correct.

Hey all! Been working on a little something to ease myself back into drawing Heartstopper pages. I’m so proud of this mini-comic! I hadn’t drawn proper comic pages for over six months and I’d been really worried that my drawing skills would have worsened in that time.
