That comment is spot on AND sciatica stretches are legit. The best treatment for sciatica is get stretchy.
Signed: Willem Defoe fan with sciatica
For anyone who doesn’t know, Sciatica is pain due to compression of the sciatic nerve, which runs from your buttocks down the back of your leg. The reason this stretch is helpful is because the sciatic nerve, after leaving your spinal cord, immediately runs just underneath - and may get compressed by - the Piriformis muscle deep in your buttcheek, which helps you externally rotate your hip. (If the muscle is super tight, your toes on that side might actually point further out when you lie down compared to the toes on your other foot, jsyk).
If the above stretch ain’t compatible with you for reasons like having bitch ass knees, here are some alternative and amazing stretches for the muscle in order of easiest to hardest (but imo least to most helpful) to perform:
However, just keep in mind that none of these stretches will help you if you have a herniated disc, which compresses the nerve roots that protrude from the spine itself! For that you’ll for sure need some different medical intervention.
Have fun!

I love being Jewish
So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????
I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.
Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?
Saw a sharp increase in my follower count after posting this. The legitimacy of it is driving me nuts so I also feel the need to say that you can follow anyone on here regardless of whether you’ve interacted with them or not. People like the above mentioned blog are exceptions. Perhaps they themselves think they aren’t and therefore will act like they aren’t, but they are, trust me.
Just follow anyone you wanna follow. The worst thing that can happen is maybe getting soft-blocked by the other person, but if they do soft-block you, then they were never that worth following in the first place.
wow. really hope this isn't actually a norm taking hold with new users! this isn't facebook, you don't need to know people before following them

you have to love trans women more than you hate transmisogyny, you have to love jews more than you hate antisemitism, you have to love Black people more than you hate white supremacy, you have to love Indigenous people more than you hate colonialism, you have to love the disabled and mentally ill more than you hate ableism, you have to love. you have to love.
you have to love the environment more than you hate the corporations, you have to love animals more than you hate industries, you have to love your neighbors- human, animal, plant, fungi- more than you hate the government.
khazar theory is actually kinda funny if you think about it. yeah dawg eastern european Jewry has said their prayers facing east for hundreds of years in a language from the levant for no reason at all actually. we just independently came up with hebrew, somehow
shoutout to that guy on this ridiculous fucking website who said that hebrew was "phonetically european". yeah man as-salaam alaykum and shalom aleichem sound similar and mean exactly the same thing for no goddamn reason. hebrew and arabic alphabets aren't virtually identical in certain places for any particular reason either. the semitic language group? whats that? like youre all just sooooooo ignorant god bless
i think if you told some of these people about the existence of aramaic their heads would explode
"Israel spends millions of dollars every year on crafting its image - "
Yeah so does Sweden. So do Lithuania and Zambia and South Korea. Let's not even get started on the US, which is where I'm guessing you're from.
If you think diplomacy and propaganda and foreign aid that's at least partly about creating a good impression of your country isn't something that EVERY country on earth does, you're naive. And if you're somehow okay with it except when Israel does it... well.
Istg like 90% of the "criticism" I see of Israel is just "oh my god did you know it's a country?"
Fun fact- did you know the entire reason Thai food is popular in the US is a concerted effort by the Thai government, with funding and resources and restaurant templates made available to facilitate PR?
You may have noticed that the ratio of Thai restaurants to Thai people in the US is high—and it's no coincidence.

Qatar, a tiny oppressive nation made rich from dirty oil money, has spent billions trying to influence the US
West Virginia spends 8-10 million US dollars a year on tourism ads. That's 1 state in the entire United States.
Let's look at some others. Let's start the smallest state. Rhode Island. In 2024, it spent 3 million US dollars on tourism ads.
Let's check my home state, Arkansas. Which uses a 2% state tax to fund tourism ads. 25.8 million US dollars a year.
Let's look at a single city. New York City. In 2021, they spent 30 million US dollars for tourism ads.
Las Vegas - again, a single city in the United States - spends about 168 million US dollars on tourism ads.
Every place with anything they can make interesting for tourism dollars is using money to try and get tourism dollars. My hometown threw live turkeys from planes for sixty years for tourism dollars. Don't bullshit me being shocked a whole fucking country has tourism ad money.
Next time you’re watching any news show or political coverage see how many of these you can spot:
Quick rundown of each propaganda technique:
• Glittering Generalities: Using vague, emotionally appealing words (like “freedom” or “justice”) that sound good but lack specific meaning.
• Transfer: Associating a person, idea, or product with something already respected or disliked (like using a flag, religion, or celebrity image) to carry over those feelings.
• Name-Calling: Attaching negative labels to an opponent or idea to create fear or distrust without real evidence.
• Card-Stacking: Presenting only positive information for one side and leaving out or distorting the negatives.
• Testimonial: Having a famous or respected person endorse an idea, product, or cause.
• Plain Folks: Presenting the speaker as an “ordinary” person to seem relatable and trustworthy.
• Band Wagon: Urging people to follow the crowd with the idea that “everyone else is doing it.”
