Jacques Vert Group Chooses Merret for Irisa Integration
We recently issued a press release that has been picked up by many different publications and portals. As it covers a piece of work we are extremely proud of, we couldn't be happier about the attention this has received. The release concerns a project between ourselves and the Jacques Vert Group (JVG), outlining the way in which Retail Assist managed two end to end system replacements in a limited time period, supporting JVG through a massive growth as they merged with the Irisa group.

Four Of The Best: Valentines Edition
For those of us that aren't anti Valentine's, this Thursday is a day to look forward to. Cheesy cards and cheesy movies are - in our humble opinion - what makes this night special, so we've put together four of our favourites from each. Cards above (we love the joke 10p one) are all from Paperchase, and below are our four 'popcorn and a giant coke please' movie night picks from Vue:

‘How Do You Like To Shop?’ – A Discussion With Popular Bloggers
In the ever changing world of retail it is interesting to observe how people shop – do the majority go in store, browse online or make orders via mobile? Have their habits changed over the last 5 years? Are they going to change over the next 5? Continue reading
NRF Day Two
There was so much to see whilst at NRF. The second day was equally as busy as the first, if not more so. On day two we came across further solutions to facilitate both the personalisation of message and the development of more valuable communications to customers, the majority of which seemed to be delivered in a digital format.. NRF 13 Day One
Yesterday was the first day of the NRF 2013 EXPO in New York - and after starting the day with the New York standard (donuts) we were fully charged and ready to go. As ever, the EXPO was huge. For me, there were two main themes to the day:
1. The joining up of channels – the importance of achieving the omnichannel experience, and 2. Personalisation of the shopping experience.

NRF 2013
It’s nearly time for our annual visit to NRF Retail’s Big Show. If you haven't heard of it before it's an exhibition and conference that brings together world retailers, providing the chance to showcase and engage in the latest technologies, thinking and networking opportunities. I wanted to share some of my experiences from last year, and my predictions for the technology we might see at the Expo.
There were several highlights for me when visiting last year’s show, the first of which is easy… being in New York! Having never been before, the opportunity to go was amazing. It really lives up to its reputation and is indeed the city that never sleeps. I don’t think I will ever forget how tall the buildings are, or the requirement to actually lean back to see the tops of some of the buildings.

Internationalisation Of The Retail Assist Help Desk
With more brands expanding their business on an international level, it is important to ensure a good range of language capabilities when offering helpdesk services. This is why we at Retail Assist have started to think internationally by expanding our team with native and learned speakers of a range of languages – a service that is available in an addition to our current international capabilities. read more
