I didn’t know about New Jersey’s law so imagine my shock when a pump jockey sprinted at my car and kicked my door shut when I tried to get out to get gas. I rolled down my window and asked him “Is there a law against pumping your own gas or something?” And he looked at me like I’M nuts and just said “…yes?”

okay but imagine this in the reverse. when i left new jersey as a driver for the first time and sat in my car for about ten minutes wondering where the attendant was until a nice man tapped on my window and just said the words “New Jersey?” and when I nodded he told me to get out of the car so he could teach me how to pump gas (and nicely didn’t laugh at me when I shot gas out of the nozzle across the side of my car).

me and the boys (all from new jersey) went on a road trip out of state and had to get gas and it ended up being sort of a Group Puzzle for the gang as we huddled around the gas pump and nozzle and tank and whatnot. just picture five people standing around the gas tank opening like its part of an escape room. it was very silly.

I caught up on the Second DW special and watched the Third special this weekend...

Loved both episodes. They were such solid stories and while I did love what they added to canon and lore I also really loved the stories being told around them. It was so much fun to watch the trippy body horror of Wild Blue Yonder, especially since Disney apparently gave them a giant budget to play with. And thank you forever RTD for giving us another villain dancing to a great song scene.

And I loved everything about The Giggle. Especially and even that ending.

I do have to laugh/lovingly roll my eyes a little bit over the fact that

Two out of three of Ten's companions have a Doctor of their own. And yes I know that Rose's is different because he's human and Donna's is Ten plus the experiences of Eleven, Twelve, and Thirteen.

May we one day get a special in which David Tennant plays all three.

I never mean to quit Doctor Who. And I never mean for it to become my whole personality. I just cycle through one and then the other every few years.

After intending to still watch after Clara left…I didn’t. And then I kept meaning to check in on Thirteen…and didn’t.

I wasn’t even going to watch the new episode tonight until I was struck with this all consuming I MUST WATCH. I was going to keep my distance and hold the show accountable for what it did to Donna and how I’m still mad.

…but nope. This show did its little thing it does to me and I’m back, baby!
