hi i just do stuff related to the things i'm into!!! feel free talk to me and send requests n asks :3 i don't really have a dni criteria but if i see ai on your page that's an instant block
currently i'm super into persona (mostly 1-2 + 4), smt, and blvn's (ooe and lamento especially). i'm also pretty into touhou, vocaloid/vocal synths, homestuck, ace attorney, and love live though i don't really post about em.
art tag - i draw with clip studio paint pro ver.4 on an xp pen deco pro s tablet. if it's traditional, it's either colored with faber castell color pencils, ohuhu alcohol markers, or colored in digitally with ibis paint x. don't repost or use for ai. if you want to use it for pfps and banners or whatever credit as like "@revelations-persona on tumblr".
stamps tag - go crazy, stick them wherever you want, credit optional lol. the font i use in them is this one
scan tag / doujinshi scan google drive folder (working on it) - cds and doujinshi scanned by my printer. repost these all you want idc, credit optional, but if you translate anything i'd love to see it pls send me a link if so :3
cosplay tag - i make cosplays sometimes!! more to come when i feel like it
cosplay yap tag - cosplay ramblings here, as much of the making process as i can fit into a post. also always open to any questions if you have any, even if it's a cosplay i made but never elaborated on
i'm also on bluesky if you want to follow me there too :) and i also have a strawpage
Stupid question but could you reveal how do you making your stamps? Like which program you use or which tutorial you used to make it? I would love to design some of my own!
sure thing ^^ ! it gets kinda long so i'll be putting it under a cut lolol
i use clip studio paint and i started out with this stamp template. from there i just kinda delete everything except the border since i don't really use it lol. i also like to separate the stamp border and the background into two different layers so i can sandwich everything else between them.
there's a ton of places you can look for assets, most of mine came from the megaten wiki bc i've been focused on megaten lol but spriters resource is also great and i used that to get the p1 overworld sprites (probably more ideal for 2d games).
for the backgrounds, i've been using either the game box art or the title screen, and i scale it down to my desired size using the interpolation method "high accuracy (average colors)" because it maintains the original image the best, but it ends up the blurriest. which is actually what i do prefer here because i want the character portraits to stick out more. on csp, you can find the interpolation method at the bottom of tool property after selecting transform. your background image should be clipped to that "bg" layer.
then for character portraits, i like both hard edges (nearest neighbor) and clear edges (bicubic) because they both end up coming out sharp. i have a hard edges brown on the left and a clear edges brown on the left. i think in my p1 stamp i use clear edges but in my recent p2 ones i used hard edges, i like the look of both since they come out looking very clear when you zoom out.
i keep folders with clipping enabled for each character so make sure you have your portrait and everything else we'll be adding to this stamp in there too.
and also make sure to keep note of what the number on the scale ratio ends up when you reach your desired size so you can keep it consistent between all of your character portraits if you're like me and do multiple at once.
for the character name text, i use this font (i like using the middle ones) and i open it in a different csp tab to manually copy and paste each individual letter and move them around to spell out the names. there is probably a more efficient way to do this LMAO but this is what works for me and once i have the letters in the correct order, i merge all of the letters into one layer and stick it in the corner 2px from the edges of the border.
i also like including the overworld character sprites and these i end up not having to scale down at all since they're already within the scale of the stamp lol. i just kinda move it around until it's where i like it.
and then in the end my layers would look like this. for more characters using the same background, i would just make the brown folder invisible and then make a new folder while keeping the background enabled. here's also what my folders look like in my smt if set's project file.
and YAYYY we're done!! you can go ahead an export it and put your stamps wherever >:) hope your stamps come out super cool and awesome anon :D (and also i would love to see!!)
i did also link a few specific resources on deviantart earlier, but i also encourage you to explore the site too!! there's a ton of other resources you can get there, like different stamp borders or other fonts so def check it out :3
I say this as a Tatsujun enjoyer, writer, and artist myself, but I implore other creators to please please please try to remember that Jun has other traits than just liking Tatsuya and being gay. And I mean traits he actually has, not the heaps and heaps of homophobic and misogynistic stereotypes that are often piled on him despite appearing nowhere in the game. Where is his love for his friends (yes, even Lisa!) and his desire to protect them? Where is his trauma and drive for atonement? Where is his strong sense of leadership? Where is his high intelligence and tendency towards introspection? Where is his skill of invention? Where is his idealism and goal-driven strength? Where is his love of literature and philosophy? His adoration and admiration of Maya?
Why is he so frequently portrayed as a sniveling, Tatsuya-obsessed guy in a skirt with the mental and physical constitution of a wet paper towel who can't think or do anything for himself and needs to be protected by big strong manly man Tatsuya (which also isn't super accurate to Tatsuya's character either, but lets not get into that right now)? And someone who has mean-spirited (and frankly often misogynistic) beef with one of his dearest friends due to her liking the same guy? All things that are very blatantly contradicted in the game. Like not even subtextually, if you just play the game you will see that these things are not true about him at all and that the exact opposite is often the case.
I get having headcanons but I really wish more people would examine their headcanons for common biases and stereotypes. Yes, even fellow queer people. At a certain point we need to ask ourselves why these "headcanons" are so dominant and pervasive and what many people default to because this is a pattern across many fandoms. There are always a lot of people finding a gay ship and slapping a collection of the same traits on to the character they deem to be the "girl" or the more feminine one, in many cases also reducing them down to just being gay and portraying that as the primary aspect of their character.
Though I shouldn't have to say so, this is not about people who primarily enjoy the ship or like to draw Jun in a dress or whatever. This is specifically about the pattern of consistently erasing aspects of his character to make him fit into the mold of a stereotype. There is a difference between drawing Jun in a dress and drawing him in a dress and making him waifish and stereotypical housewife who cares about nothing except for Tatsuya. Or writing Jun being protected because he's injured or indisposed vs him just being inherently weak and unable to do anything for himself. Or portraying him as swooning over Tatsuya vs acting like the entire game and his character can be boiled down to romance or implying that he's so obsessed that he'll treat his female friends like rivals and threats. I hope this is clear.
super shitty naoya with no working drivers...ive not played oldsonas yet but hes so handsome im a huge fan of the way soejima and shimada draw him nowadays, although i think its mainly been shimada
