I finished reading the Manhwa/Webtoon, Daytime Star, by Chae-eun (Art by Godago)
Overall Rating: 9.5/10
Genres: Romance, Shoujo, and Drama
Status: Completed (72 Chapters and 5 Side Stories)
Plot: This story line was very heartwarming and easy to follow. There were some tropes, however, nothing that made me want to stop reading.
Characters: Nice character development, the main character really grows towards the end of the story line.
Art: Beautiful! So well done, seriously. I think it's part of the reason why it's reread worthy.
The story focuses on Yura Hwang, a struggling, no-name actress of seven years. There's a famous celebrity, Seunghyeon Kang, she frequently runs into and eventually works with him. We see how their relationship (and her career) evolves over time.
While this story was tagged as a Drama, I actually thought there weren't as many tropes one would usually see in stories like this, and the tropes that were present weren't super heavy or dragged out.
There were some shenanigans towards the end that felt unnecessary, but otherwise this was a really enjoyable light, fluffy read.

Genres: Yaoi, Smut, Mature, Action, Zombies, Survival, and Romance
Status: Completed (36 Chapters, an Epilogue, and 5 Side Stories)
Plot: I enjoyed the storyline. I wasn't bored, I didn't feel the urge to skip any chapters, or quickly skim. I felt the length of the story was just right (though I do wish there were a few more side stories).
Characters: Well-written, you can tell the author put a lot of thought into them.
Art: Simple, but well-drawn. I really enjoyed the way the characters' emotions were drawn.
The story focuses on two characters, Kang Eun-Chan & Jin Soo-Jeong, and their relationship as they attempt to survive a zombie apocalypse together.
It is a romance, but I'd say the story is more of an analysis of their personalities and how they respond to situations as they arise. The story has darker aspects to it (it's a zombie apocalypse, I would be more surprised if there wasn't mature themes), however, there are comedic moments as well.
This story definitely doesn't warrant the psychological tag.
Overall, I really enjoyed this story and I would recommend. Will I ever reread this? Unlikely, but only because there are so many more stories out there waiting to be read.
