i dont want to jinx anything but i cannot believe zach woods would be able to live with himself if he tacitly condoned sexual abuse

I’d define men’s passive silence and/or willful ignorance on this topic (while working/living in a culture in which they directly benefit from it) as tacit condonement. So I hope he is having a hard time living with himself, to be honest.

Idk, anon, I’m not usually one to pressure anyone to comment on anything, and in Zach’s case the fact that he doesn’t really have a “platform” to comment from is something I like about him!!! But – especially, in this instance, given the TJ revelations – I believe it’s time for any man who profits from being thought of as “one of the good ones” to step up and actually condemn assault and abuse and harassment. Like, I’m not asking for much! Just be better than utterly mediocre. Does that make sense? I’m going to stop writing now because I’m worried this has come across as hostile in a way I don’t mean it to be. I just want to stop constantly bracing myself, y'know?

How do we know he is being silent about it, though? He doesn’t have any social media, we literally know nothing about what he has said about the situation in his personal life. If he was on social media, I would agree with you, but he isn’t, he literally has no public platform, how is he supposed to say anything publicly? He doesn’t even have a publicist.

Thomas has already disappointed me in many aspects(so many that I had to unfollow his instagram) and I don’t think Martin or Kumail have commented on it, which is a disappointment.

I think Zach will probably say something in an interview if asked the question (I will be truly disappointed if no interviewer asks him about it) and I think DP/30 would definitely be the interviewer to ask him if anyone. Zach has been fairly expressive before of his views during such interviews and I feel as though this will be no exception.

At least, I hope so. It’d suck if Zach takes a complicit silence over this.
