this happened to be the place where she first met gregory house, and over the years the collaboration, the (and from houses side, very unruly) mutual criticism, and so on led house to arrange for her placement at ppth as a supervised research fellow.

obviously cs she's literally 15 she's not licensed for independent practice, she's still permitted to contribute to differential diagnoses, medical investigations, and obviously research projects within the diagnostics department!

(sorry for the ambiguity in her work, didn't specify bc I'm not a medical professional and I don't wanna sound pretentious....though I'm sure i already do ☹️)

The medical field is only lonely when you allow it to be.

With the stress beinf 24/7, you never know when to have time with others; so all you do is bury yourself into work, forget to socialize. It happens to the best of us. But you can also be willing to meet knew people in the med field. Give new ideas, figure things out... and the saris are drop dead gorgeous, can I try one? :3

yess, sure, but they might be uncomfortable at first 😭 for me atleast i have lots of sensory issues, and these clothes if bedazzled are like generally a bit uncomfortable.

and yeah, i love learning, but i never learnt social cues. my sisters an adult so shes not really my bestfriend but she is the best person i can have conversations with and do stupid stuff with, that being said i dont have any siblings cousins or associates at work around my age so it can get lonely. doesnt mean the medical field isnt genuinely interesting though, it feeds my restlessness for learning a lot.

since ppth is a teaching hospital I'm affiliated with it as a research fellow. I contribute to differential diagnoses and medical research but dr house is solely responsible for every clinical decision. I don't examine patients, order tests, prescribe treatments, or document in the medical record. officially and technically speaking I'm part of the research department! so it's pretty legal.
