Watching GDT Stein glaze video essays as a form of self harm
No offense (*Not really) but as someone who already dislikes Oplita, to see Oplita fanart attached to straight pride month shitshow is sure double "ick" factor. Lol, I swear TF fandom is doing their damnest to make my allergic to this mid ship in every offensive way as they can come up. Sure it's unfair to the ship and the other normal Oplita shippers, but my tolerance is very low right now!!!
But let go back to that one fellow artist. it's actually very funny when they did this to spite someone while claiming to support LGBTQ pride month by using a mockery of pride month creates by homophobic/queerphobic/transphobic bigots who craved the victimhood and attention so much!!! This is just peak performative activism!!!
Megatron is all gray which is the color cybertronians turn upon death. And in some versions energon, which is basically cybertronians' blood, is pink, same color as Elita's body
Conclusion: Optimus likes 'em goths
I saw ur carriage ride animation! It’s phenomenal! Are you gonna make animations for every chapter/every pivotal scene? Cause that would be so cool!! I could watch an entire series in your style (especially if it’s an accurate adaptation of Dracula)
hope you have a lovely day

The Dracula project
The carriage ride animation was part of my class's end-of-the-year presentation on projects everyone had to work on. Now, most people just did it for the grade (understandable), but I changed my original plan mid-year because I realized this might be my opportunity to work on an adaptation of Dracula we might actually enjoy – because I'm actually trying to pitch it into a movie!
In November, I will attend, by grace of my school director, a convention where I will meet representatives of various animation studios and TV producers alongside fellow animation students.
So, me and @catsvrsdogscatswin have partnered to work on this, and have made extensive research (mostly on her end) and are writing scripts, making character sheets, drawing storyboards, and preparing for anything we might need. Everything I've posted up until now (with the exception of memes) will be in our portfolio.
Our selling point is that this will be an adaptation as accurate to the original story as possible, with the intended metaphors and narrative of the novel (we're quite read up on Stoker's personal life to try and see how he intended it to be read), AND as accurate to its era as possible - not just with the English characters, but the Eastern European ones as well. This way, it could even serve as an academic alternative for anyone that doesn't want to read the book (and would enjoy 2D animation).
Hand-drawn animation and gothic/vampire horror are the hot topic of the moment with recent successful movies, and people miss more serious animation like the iconic villains of older films as well as actual passion over cash-grabs. So we're not gonna pull any punches or try and spin it into a hallmark romantic tragedy and give it all the horror and dramatic suspense of the original novel. We will tackle subjects like Victorian gender roles, xenophobia, racism, male and female survivors of sexual violence, classism, the sociopolitical issues faced by Romani people, different aspects of Christianity, girlhood, ableism and the triumph of the human spirit, which will be the main metaphor. Also, as my dad helpfully added, rebelling against a powerful rich man, which might interest some viewers.
If everything goes very, very well, someone will be interested in picking up our project and making it into a reality!

"He held her for an instant But his arms felt sure and strong."
Oplita wip that I still intend to paint once I have free time because work is draining all my vital energy.
The funny thing is that it wasn't my intention to hide Elita's face. Optimus's exhaust pipes (? I'm assuming that's what they are) ended up getting in the way and initially I was annoyed, but then I looked and thought "wait...that's actually kind of cool!", bcs they are reuniting after a long time and having a relieved and emotional "It's you..." moment, so it makes sense that their faces aren't visible because they haven't seen each other in centuries and don't look the same as what the other remembers.
(the song is "It Only Takes a Moment", aka "the romantic song that plays in Wall-E lol)

ANSWERED YES TO ALL TEN? CONGRATS, we've finally tracked you down your immortal life-sucking bastard. Hunters of the Order will descend on your lair imminently, since you weren't even using a VPN
My woke take, as someone who has worked in both a public library and a school library, is that we desperately need both more books that are at a higher reading level but a less mature subject matter, and more books that are at a lower reading level but a more mature subject matter, because 8 year olds who are advanced readers are still 8 year olds and don't want to read about graphic violence and torture, and teens and adults who have learning difficulties or who are just later readers for whatever reason are still teens and adults and don't want to read about Billy the Bunny going to school or whatever the hell.

Everybody say "thank you south america" for the humble potato
Actually let's get specific with it
*checks wiki*
Everybody say thank you indigenous people of present-day southern Peru and extreme northwestern Bolivia from 7-10,000 years ago for the humble potato
reading about the participation of children in rituals as a form of play in ancient greece and came across an incredibly charming story from julius pollux's onomasticon where a flood prevented the adults from reaching a sanctuary to sacrifice a ram to heracles, and the children solved the problem by....sticking a bunch of sticks in an apple to give it "legs" and "horns" and offering it as a sacrifice instead. it's such a charming thought and i can perfectly picture kids these days also pretending at sacrificing an apple "goat" at recess
