Barbara Luiza Rabelo Amaral aka Barbara aka Balu aka cleaning lady is a Brazilian cutie whose hobby is cleaning! Bet you bottom dollar she is the nicest Brazilian you will ever encounter, but don’t break her heart. She will be so sad if you turn your back on her.
Her name is actually Barbara, but I personally love to call her Balu. The history behind that nickname is that her mother’s name is "Maria Luiza" and so people call her "Malu". Her mother proudly gave her the name "Barbara Luiza" when she was delivered into this world as a cute baby girl, thus her name MUST be "Balu"! Cute, isn’t it?
I really love her smile, it’s really beautiful, sincere and honest and I genuinely think that it is one of the 'gifts' that runs in her family. I have met her mom once, she was extremely nice! And Lord didn’t she have that pure, genuine smile! and yeah, I told Barbara over and over again, she is the spitting image of her mother. Malu is Balu's older version!
I think she is a very brave girl and she’s not afraid to fight for her place and she just cannot stand any unjust things around her. I think that is a very heroic attitude and everybody should possess such attitude. One thing though, she can get nervous, like extremely nervous over small things. But I think it’s very cute when she gets in her nervous stage! Aaaaiii meu deus!
Well, for me it is actually very hard to express my feelings. I might look crazy, all open, and very active, but I actually am not really good at expressing what I am feeling. I remember once I did something terrible to her. I call it the “Nansha Temple Tragedy”. I didn’t say sorry not even explaining things to her. I actually have forgotten what was the actual reason I did that, I mean playing the silent game. But I am grateful because that tragedy made me even closer to her. I started to learn about my Balu even more and tried to understand her more.
She really wants to have a Chinese baby! BUT, she doesn’t want to have it from a Chinese! Can you believe that? I mean I am down with adoption and everything and I think it is an angelic deed! But deep down in my soul I think my Balu will eventually settle down with a Chinese. Look at all the Brapanese (Brazilian-Japanese) out there! They are smokin! I bet a Brainese will be just as smokin and hot! (Don’t forget I shall be one the godfathers of your child, okay?)
