hey guys, just a gentle reminder that just because you’re good at something and enjoy it doesn’t mean you need to commit your life to it. a lot of people are really artistic and enjoy art but don’t want to make it their career. the exact same thing applies to stuff like math, computer science, etc. in the end, your career should be something that you would look forward to spending the rest of your life doing. you don’t even have to be good at it, you just need to be passionate. im a firm believer that it’s better to be passionate about something then to be impartial to it but be good at it.

and if the career is something that doesn’t have a high success rate, that shouldn’t stop you from pursuing it. ask yourself what success means for you. for some people it’s respect, for some it’s money, for some it’s a loving family. just because someone else doesn’t think you’re successful doesn’t mean you aren’t, you just need to realize that their opinions don’t really matter when it comes to your life.
