You begin breastfeeding your hungry newborn baby at the airport while Harry is on the hunt for you some breakfast, when all of the sudden an older man decides to butt into your business and share his negative thoughts on you breastfeeding in public.
This marked your first travel experience since welcoming your two-month-old daughter into the world, Penny, and it'd be an understatement to say you were a nervous wreck. You were unsure if Penny would sleep soundly for the duration of the flight, or if she'd cry and bother the other passengers. The unknowing of how she'll act on the plane gave you major anxiety.
You and Harry made sure to get to the airport two hours in advance of your flight's departure time, which gave you time to have some breakfast and soothe your nerves before the journey. After going through the security checks and having your bags examined, you sat in a small seating area near your gate while Harry looked for breakfast for the two of you.
While he's on the hunt for breakfast, Penny, who's strapped to your chest, begins to fuss, and you know precisely what her problem is. She's hungry as well. She hasn't eaten since just before you left your house, which was nearly two hours ago. You unclip her from your chest and take off the baby carrier, then gently lift your shirt just enough for her to have access to your breast.
In the first few weeks of having Penny, you often felt anxious about breastfeeding in public spaces; however, Harry quickly snapped you out of that anxiety. He emphasized that you are simply feeding your daughter, and if anyone has a negative remark about it, they can take their opinions elsewhere and fuck the right off.
Approximately a minute after you begin feeding Penny, an elderly gentleman takes a seat in the same waiting area as you. You initially pay him no mind until you observe his gaze fixated on your chest while you're feeding your daughter. You choose to ignore him and focus your attention out the large glass windows in front of you. This continues until the older man chooses to speak.
"Should be ashamed to have your breast hanging out like that in public. Very indecent for a pretty women like you."
You abruptly turn your head towards him, a scowl present on your face. How dare this stranger have the audacity to comment on the act of you feeding your child? It's not as if you're sitting here exposing yourself without cause. You clearly have a baby attached to your chest. Just as you're about to address the older man, Harry comes back with two breakfast sandwiches and two cups of coffee, completely unaware of the dispute that unfolded during his absence.
As Harry sits down beside you, the older man opts to speak to him, presuming that Harry is your partner. "Hey, could you tell your wife to feed your baby in the toilets or somewhere else less public? No one wants to see your wife's tits this early before a flight. It could lead to an uncomfortable situation for us men during our flights. If you know what I mean."
You nervously decide to glance over at Harry and realize you've never witnessed him this angry before. It was as if you could actually see invisible smoke billowing from his ears, and his face is a bright shade of red. "Uhmm, sorry, I must've heard you wrong. Because there is no way in hell you just implied that my WIFE feeding our CHILD would make men hard? If a man gets hard at the sight of a women feeding their baby, the man needs to be locked up and far away from society. You dirty bastard."
For a brief moment, you're anxious that Harry might go up to the man and provoke a fight, but once Harry finishes his angry speech, the intercom activates and announces that the older man's flight is ready for boarding. Thankfully, he is not on your flight. As he walks away, Harry turns to you with a concerned look and asks, "Are you okay? Did he say anythin' to you while I was out getting us breakfast?"
Sadly smiling, you respond, "I'm okay. Just a little bit shook up. He just said I should be ashamed to have my breast out like this and then said it was very indecent for a pretty women like me."
Harry sets the breakfast down on the empty seat to his left and leans in to kiss your lips softly. "M' so sorry. I shouldn't have left you alone. Ignore what that fuckin' pervert said to you. You did nothin' wrong. Feeding our baby isn't wrong. And any man who ever tells you they get hard at the sight of you feeding a baby, run as far away as you can from them. There is nothin' sexual about you feeding a baby."
"Okay. Thank you for taking up for me and Penny. We appreciate it."
Harry just stares at you for a moment with a warm smile before glancing down at your baby who's still sucking your breast from just beneath your shirt, unfazed by all the recent commotion. He leans down to peck a soft kiss to the crown of Penny's head and mutters, "'Course, I'll always protect you two. You're both my world. Love you more than anythin'."
For the remainder of your time in the airport before your flight, you sit and glance out the big glass windows while your baby feeds. Harry takes turns feeding himself and than helping you eat by positioning your breakfast sandwich to your lips since your hands are full. You couldn't be more grateful to have such an amazing husband. He's the sweetest and most caring man you know, and he repeatedly makes you fall in love with him over and over again, every single day.
