Here are five recolors for AmBodyVestTieBaggy [Glamour SP] - I've shared mesh tweak for it once and been planning to separate the edited pants 'cuz I'll never have enough jeans in my game.

GLBaggyJeans recolors are repo'd to outfit recolors.

*This is for The Sims 2
Archive contains PSD file with layers.
I'll probably go back to it at some point and improve the denim texture, 'cuz it is a bit too crunchy.

So friends, I've been having (a bit too much) fun updating the ROS roller revamp I released the other day...
Brandi's been having a time of it testing everything out for me 😂🙈
Read on to discover all of the madness I've been up to...
Editing the ROS in SimPE:
Firstly, I rearranged the contents of the ROS roller package a little. In my previous post I included instructions for inputting your own ROS events, which have now been slightly changed:
In Text Lists (STRs) you will now find a nicely labelled "Private Strings - ROS events" file where you can input all of your events, starting at line 1:
Previously, the events were included in "dialogue strings". This has now been changed.
If you do update the ROS roller with your own events, you still want to keep track of how many you have, and once you've got them all entered, go into BCONs - ROS Generator options and update line 2 with your total number of events minus 1:
I encourage anyone who plays with ROS to feel free to throw out all of my events and put theirs in instead! I won't be offended.
That said, if you do play with my events, or just generally enjoy chaos, I've added some things to make enacting the ROS events a little easier.
Again, nothing is automated. It is up to you to "make" the events happen. These options will however hopefully help.
There are 2 new menus on the ROS roller; Roll Dice and ROS results.
Roll dice:
This menu gives you a healthy collection of dice you can roll:
In case you don't have your own dice or don't want to tab out of the game to use a number generator. The result will pop up as a notification in the top right of screen.
I also realised that it might be hard to remember what the results were supposed to be for some of the ROS outcomes that involve rolling a dice to choose the outcome.
So, now after you accept a ROS event the dialogue will appear a second time as a text notification in the top right of screen that will stay open until you close it.
For example, if you roll this rather long-winded ROS with multiple outcomes, it may be hard to remember what to do after you accept it, so it now appears a second time for your benefit:
ROS Results Menu:
The ROS results menu involves the following options to help you enact ROS events:
You can easily schedule a burglar to come visit your lot. I copied code from an older mod called the "burglar painting" but made some tweaks; i.e. instead of the burglar appearing immediately, the ROS now "schedules" the burglar when you click this interaction and then summons one at midnight.
Under Adopt you can now instantly adopt a stray cat or dog, baby, toddler, child or teenager.
For animals, the code will scan for stray animals and adoption pool pets and randomly select one to instantly add to your household.
For kids, the code first scans the adoption pool and if it finds none, then creates a new random sim. For new sims, it selects 2 random townies to be parents and combines genetics. A lot of this code was copied from the "Tombstone of Life and Death" boolprop object, with a few tweaks.
You will be given the opportunity to name the new baby or rename the adopted random sim,
and the new sim will be automatically given the surname of the sim you had selected when you chose to adopt a new family member.
Under "Disaster" you can set your house on fire, flood your house, give the family the plague, or cause a roach infestation.
For fire, flood and infestation, the code randomly selects a number of "disaster" objects to create and then places them in the house.
The fire code tries to find a stove or a fireplace to be the source of the flames and lights that room on fire. Failing finding either of those things, it will just pick a room and start setting stuff on fire.
Here's a video I took during development:
For floods, the code will look for a sink and cause a flood nearby that. Failing finding a sink, once again it will pick a random room and flood it:
Oh dear 😂
Infestation will find the outside trash can and cause a random number of roaches to spawn nearby. This was the point Brandi had a mental breakdown:
(Although she was fine with testing baby adoption lol):
The way "plague" works is that it finds members of the household aged teen or older, and has a random chance of giving them the flu. That one will be fun in medieval play...
Then finally at the request of @guessimate I added a menu for knocking a sim's reputation about.
This has honestly opened a WHOLE can o' worms of me investigating reputation in TS2 (and how much more scope there is to fully implement it) but basically, we agreed that it's too easy for sims to have a high reputation and it might be fun if some ROS outcomes had the potential to knock reputation down a little.
Expect some more mods from me around reputation in the future, because, yeah, it needs some tweaking.
Both the medieval version and the modern version have been updated, and you can grab the files right
Merry Christmas everyone! Here's a bunch of other objects and recolors for you! 🎄
Thanks to @angelapleasant for organising the event, this was my first time taking part in such an event and I'm really happy that I did!
🎄 🎀 🎄 🎁 🎄 🎀 🎄 🎁 🎄 🎀 🎄
First up, recolors of the basegame Chez Moi counters and a uv-mapping fix for the island. I based my recolors on the darkwood version of MsBarrows. I also extracted two of their countertop recolors.
These recolors somehow got a bit distorted on the island so I also made a uv-edit of the island.

🎄 🎀 🎄 🎁 🎄 🎀 🎄 🎁 🎄 🎀 🎄
Next up, 10 recolors of the basegame Luxiary armchair.

🎄 🎀 🎄 🎁 🎄 🎀 🎄 🎁 🎄 🎀 🎄
A mesh default of the Uni Industrial Steelate counter and island. I never really liked this mesh because of the gap, so I broadened the meshes.

🎄 🎀 🎄 🎁 🎄 🎀 🎄 🎁 🎄 🎀 🎄
And finally, another mesh default and a new mesh!
First, I made a default of the FT canopy bed where the canopy also pulls its textures from the bedding for ultimate matchiness.

🎄 🎀 🎄 🎁 🎄 🎀 🎄 🎁 🎄 🎀 🎄
Second, a matching armchair for the NL sectional sofa.
haai :3 ur sims look so pretty, could u share ur cc folder if possible??
Hi! And thanks
But sharing the downloads folder is firstly unfair to the creators of cc, and secondly I have a lot of unfinished projects of my own in it, which may look good on a screenshot, but they are not suitable for sharing
If you liked something specific, ask me and I will give you a link where you can download it or look at my Pinterest, there I collect the cc that I use
I wanted a normal tub version of this, so I made it! (I made a tubshower before) Repo'd to the base game Simple Tub from Krampft Industries and the Nooks and Niches master (that you can find here reuploaded for example). That's it :)
These are all recolors of Maxis objects but it's an old T$R set so it needed a bit of work. I changed all the textures from Raw32bit to DXT3Format so they're less blurry and we can see how detailed the recolors are. Fixed the 2 paintings so they work with the CEPs that add subsets. The original set had a recolor for the AL bookcase door but I changed that to be a recolor of the BG Renaissance bookcase, it will also recolor the AL bookcases if you have the CEP by Shasta (last one on the page)
gonna be sharing the tons of wall art I've made, so we will start off with the classic Travel Poster from Bon Voyage!
featuring art from threadless with artists in filenames with text changed to Simlish by me (sometimes the text is changed depending on ... me lol) all the fonts I use are from this list by franzilla
there is some darker humour here (IE: suicidal ideation) as you can see so if you are sensitive to that be mindful. I just thrive on gallows humour
a few aren't shown in the preview because I was running out of space. :P
