Fibre crafts are 50% soothing repetitive action and 50% "God Fucking Damnit"
Sorry but this is hilarious
can I take a picture of the moon?
the tower of Pisa: yes, sorry
we can argue about whether daylight or standard time is better until the cows come home but I think the real problem here is that our workdays are so long that either way, no one actually gets to enjoy much daylight in the winter months. like the heart of the debate is really “do you want your one (1) hour of usable winter sunlight to happen before or after the other 8+ hours are wasted to capitalism?”. I wouldn’t mind a 4 PM sunset if I could get out of work in time to actually enjoy it
This is what happens when you’re still on tumblr as an adult, you start reblogging shit like this

Still me in 2022 🥹
The other day a man signed up for our advantage card and I asked for his “email” and he looked at me and goes “No?? I have a gmail, I don’t even know what an email is.” And I was just so in awe for a moment and I just smiled and enthusiastically replied “It’s okay that works!” Meanwhile internally screaming.
Honestly if anyone wants to know what retail is like on a daily basis? This is it.
Wasting time.
Aka. I just wanted to draw kitty cat.

I'm losing it over this
"At a certain level of clientele, capitalism isn't about efficiency" ya don't say...

Guys guys guys guys !!! WHAT?!
One of the social functions of conspiracy theories is to bury genuine malfeasance beneath a layer of bullshit.
See, for example:
Monsanto’s business practices vs. GMO hysteria;
Epstein’s book vs. QAnon;
George W. Bush’s use of 9/11 as a pretext to invade Iraq vs. “9/11 was an inside job”
and, most infamously, the inherent dynamics of capitalism vs. The Protocols of the Elders of Zion
See also the California wildfires started because PG&E went 17 years without performing adequate safety checks on electrical infrastructure vs the California wildfires started because of the giant Jewish space laser.
The library at Osterley Park, London. The room was designed by Robert Adam in 1766 and used to house a large and important collection. However, the books were sold in 1885 to fund repairs to the rest of the house. Recently, the National Trust (who operate Osterley) acquired the collection of Brighton book collector Norman Norris, and used it to restock the library at Osterley. Norris acquired his books during and immediately after World War II when many British country house libraries were being dispersed. His collection contains topographical and illustrated books, early novels, classical texts, and a group of early library catalogues, including the original Osterley one, which has allowed the library to be partially recreated. The library also has a secret door behind one of the bookshelves.
With all this Bert+Ernie debating, now seems like a very good time for me to point out the REAL iconic gay couple of the Muppetverse we’ve all been ignoring for YEARS
Shit guys I always thought Statler and Waldorf were brothers but I just went online and no they aren’t but Waldorf is married to this muppet Astoria and guys you’ll never believe this
Astoria is Statler in a fucking dress…
I think we’ve stumbled onto a real conspiracy here folks.
As this just came back up on my dash, I just want to remind everyone there “older gentlemen who have reserved seats at the theatre they go to every week just to be catty bitches” doesn’t have a heterosexual explanation.
Nice, but I must remind you of this moment:
So the Muppets are very gay then
