“What is wrong with me…”
"Malthus never committed any sins when he was a child!" Are we sure because I believe gluttony is a sin and I don't think him finishing off full jam jars and shoving his fingers to get every last bit is something new 🤨🤨🤨
But also why is it so sensual?? Like he's shoving his fingers in his mouth trying to get every last bit of jam. Also I don't know if I'm just projecting but god is he autistic coded
Malthus spent the entirety of his life trying to fulfill his mother's prophecy of having a son that was a saint; he was raised by a priest who spent his entire life trying to offer a saint to God; everything that he has done was for the sake of others and their happiness, not his. Hilda was basically the only thing that he decided for himself, the single thing that he wanted, yet he was forced to deny himself of her; he felt guilty and hurt himself, due to the ideals that he was manipulated to believe in; he refused to give in to his humanly desires.
It's kind of silly how he wanted to perform a miracle by exorcising her so he could finally be a saint, but unknowingly Hilda's existence itself was the miracle—the only person who actually taught him what it means AND how it feels to be human—the angel who opened his eyes and made him ACTUALLY love humanity, “I look at her shoe and I love the world.” She still was the miracle, although it's not how he intended it to be, but it's what he needed the most.
half man ep4 hospital scene truly has everything: domestic violence, sexual violence, regular violence, assault, battery, more violence, two people saying things to each other not even god could forgive, implications, repression, choking, richard gadd throwing jamie bell around a tiny room like a rag doll or some sort of small piece of furniture, three separate break up talks without ever really touching the heart of The Issue, touching licherally all Other Issues, jamie bell cowering, richard gadd towering, reconciliation and also the most hug of all time
Sharing this because im obsessed before uploading a one shot<33
American TV: Let's censor swear words to avoid angry religious parents
Brazilian TV: What if we broadcast a romance between a priest and a prostitute? I don't think anyone would be upset about that.
I could argue that this was one of the best kisses that they shared in the entire show (the very top being the one where they stood beneath the cross).
Considering that this was the first time that they've seen each other for awhile, the amount of yearning and holding back, especially on Malthus' end. The way that one moment they are profusely arguing and a second later they're in each other's arms in a heated kiss, the resolve that Malthus built completely breaking down, how he denies himself of her but gives in once again, showing how much he just longs for her. After all, it's been consistently shown that no matter what he does or says, he can't get rid of the fact that he always ends up trapped between her arms.
I just like scenes where they argue and kiss
He didn’t need to imagine all that
Yes, His Grace, Duke Douglas of Sealand is even older now. As each year passes, I am more sorry about starting this tradition of posting a semi-tasteful photo.

HAS SHE SEEN SINNERS
Preferably when she wasn’t wearing the retainer.
the more i think about aziraphale miracling on crowley's heaven disguise in the lift the more i want to write that fic.
the inherent intimacy of it, the history behind it, the hesitation that didn't use to be there but is unmistakable now. allowing aziraphale to create the armour crowley has to wear more for himself than any angels in heaven.
a soft question for consent and the quiet trust in crowley giving it, a conversation about clothing and the meaning it carries.
saying i never forgot who you are with woven serpents and golden accents, saying i never thought you did when lowering his head and allowing aziraphale to leave streaks of himself in his hair.
#just ineffable husbands things (x|x|x) thank you aziraphale and crowley for everything❤️
Despite how much I loved the ending, part of me loves thinking about them potentially regaining their angel/demon memories someday.
Imagining a scenario where Asa and Anthony DO remember who they once were. At some point they're living in their cottage and something happens. The nightingale sings and it's some small semblance of magic left over from the essence of the other universe. The last miracle left in existence that found its way to now just for them. The memories come flooding back and they look at one another in absolute overwhelming astonishment.
"It's... you."
"Angel."
"Crowley."
They laugh and run to the other and hold one another. They can't do anything but laugh and keep each other as close as they possibly can. They stare into each other's eyes and kiss and cry tears of joy over the ridiculousness of the resilience and stubbornness of their love. How no matter what becomes of any universe, they somehow remain together. They somehow find each other. They stay clinging onto one another as if they might vanish again, but eventually, they sit down and talk and talk and talk, all the while still tearing up and chuckling. They discuss being human and how utterly wonderful it is.
They go to the pub and point out how many faces they recognize. (Thinking of there being some Wizard of Oz ending type vibes)
They consider how hilarious it is that Dagon and Michael are working together. How sweet it is Muriel and Eric are together. They mention how... strange it is that the Metatron ended up being such a great guy without the infulence of Heaven.
They talk about how amazing its been to be able to experience being fully human. How they don't have to worry about Heaven or Hell anymore. They marvel at the universe THEY created with their love. How lucky they are to have found each other again despite not having their memories at the time. They raise their glasses and beam brilliantly with tears shining in their eyes.
"To our world."
"To our world."
Idk just some random fanfic-y ideas I've been having 😅
I was so focused on them that I didn't notice the mural in the background! It's so full of symbolisms! 🤯
There are angels in the sky, some kind of Demon Cupid with horns, outter space, stars, a planet and a big heart with wings. There was a frame when Asa was running after Crowley where the latter has his back turned and his body completely blocks the heart out of view, leaving only the wings as if they were his own.
It's so cute the part with the planet is right on Crowley's side since he loves space so much and everything related to it 🪐
And on his side, Asa's head is blocking the angels and the Demon Cupid, only leaving a wing and the halo visible, with the halo being way too close to his head 🥹
It's also very fitting that the Demon Cupid Is on Asa's side, since he was the one who fell first for Crowley, and that the winged heart (which the Demon Cupid is targeting at) is on Crowley's side 🥹😭❤️❤️❤️
I see some people questioning why Aziraphale and Crowley had to make their decision at the end when it seemed avoidable so here's my two cents on why I actually liked the finale.
Neil gaiman said season 3 was going to be what would've been book 2, and season 2 was the bridge to get us there.
They couldn't just do what Adam did in season 1 and rewrite reality, because season 2 was showing us that the whole problem was heaven and hell. The two sides making humans lives harder, while both having their own motives, the angels being hypocrites, etc., etc. All of this goes into Aziraphale and Crowley's decision at the end that humans need a world where they can be themselves without these external forces trying to sway them.
Aziraphale and Crowley knew this would mean they wouldn't exist, but their love of humanity was stronger than that. And further, their love for one another reflects their love of humanity. For 6000 years Aziraphale and Crowley have been on earth together, experiencing all the pleasures the world has to offer, including companionship. What I've always loved about Good Omens is that despite the main characters being two celestial beings, they are still so human, and a large part of that is their relationship with each other that makes them human. Whether it be platonic or romantic doesn't matter, whether they kiss or not doesn't matter. What does matter is that they loved each other so much and that made them human, and that love also made them love humanity.
Everything they've done has been for humanity, and while at first (book/season 1) it started as self preservation with selfish motives, it ended with complete self sacrifice to give humanity the chance they believe it deserves.
And! Those 6000 years aren't all for nothing! Those 6000 years is what gave them that mindset they had about heaven and hell and humanity. Living on earth, outside of their respective domains gave them a perspective that neither the angels or demons had - they knew what humanity needed. And that was for them to be out of the way.
And! Asa and Anthony meeting and living a happy life together is proof that if not for heaven and hell's interfering, Aziraphale and Crowley would have ended up together and gotten their happy ending. Asa and Anthony are proof that Aziraphale and Crowley's sacrifice gave humans the chance they deserve. People talk about how a lot of those 6000 years Aziraphale and Crowley had was suffering, but that is not the case for Asa and Anthony. Without heaven or hell, they can just be, like Crowley believed they could. Alpha Centauri was never a true option, heaven and hell still would've been an issue. But in this new universe, Asa and Anthony truly do get to be an "us".
And you know what? In their own universe, in their own time, with heaven and hell beating down on them - Aziraphale and Crowley still managed to find and love each other. And do you know what I call that? Ineffable.
