This entire book looks like someone’s fever dream brought to life through some dark pact with an eldritch being… and I love it.
They are satirizing femininity. It’s not outside the realm of imagination. This exact framing, styling and representation is given to women everyday. If you put men in same position it becomes ridiculous doesn’t it? Because the way women are treated and portrayed is ridiculous.

A Letter to the Editor at the Daily Prophet, reproduced with permission: I have considered myself a supporter of Voldemort since the beginning of his campaign. I believed that he stood for my values on important issues. I respected that he stood up for the concerns of Pureblood Wizards throughout this great country and that he did not allow himself to be cowed and silenced by Political Correctness. I believed in Traditional Wizarding values and I still do. Voldemort’s platform combined a respect for tradition and propriety that I feel has been sorely lacking from British Wizardry for too long. Respecting the wishes of Pure Bloods in civic life and education. Stopping the reformers and other agitators from upsetting the long held roles of non-human magical creatures in both the home and the workplace. Recognizing that muggles are a danger to themselves and others and working to keep them in their place, away from our children. I believed that Voldemort was the Wizard we needed to Make British Wizarding Great Again. I feel that Voldemort’s administration at the Ministry of Magic has made strides on a number of important issues, and it is my sincere hope that we will not lose sight of those important issues in the days ahead. Traditional Wizards need to continue to stand up for our values and make sure that our voices are heard. With that said, after recent events I can no longer count myself among Voldemort’s supporters. Like many of you, I was shocked and appalled to learn that Voldemort and a number of his top aides and advisors had launched an assault on an educational institution. Despite my many disagreements with the general direction of Wizarding Education in recent decades and my specific complaints about the philosophy and conduct of previous headmaster Albus Dumbledore, I cannot condone actions that put the safety and security of our children at such grave risk. Whatever the reason, an attack on a school such as Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is never an acceptable course of action. Surely other measures could be taken to apprehend the malcontents who are being harbored at the school. Why were the Ministry’s demenotors not employed? Surely any number of Aurors or other professionals could be set to the task. Any option would have been favorable when compared to the prospect of Killing Curses flying down the halls of school. As a father of a school aged witch, I am appalled at such disregard for the safety of our Wizarding children and such disrespect for the institution of Magical Education. I can now say, clearly and without equivocation, that Voldemort does not stand for my values or for the values of true Traditional Wizards throughout this great nation. For the most part the Meihem community is such a chill, laid back group, which is one of the things I love about it ❤We just had a big influx of new people to the Meihem Discord server, which is like our little chat room refuge away from all the drama. It really warms my heart to see our little family growing into such a diverse group of people from all over the world, coming together because of a couple of fictional characters that we just want to see being happy together. Y'all are the best.
