Sorry for being so inactive these past months. School has been a real drag and slowed down my sewing process. Not to mention personal problems that I’ve been dealing with but here’s my complete Mikio cosplay clothing wise!! I have to order the right color wig and extensions for him. It’s hella hard to find maroon wigs. And I have to finish my ears and tail and order contacts but other than that I’m done sewing!!
Happy Valentine’s Day from the Lettuce Waltz team and Shuye (CV: @prozdvoices )! We hope you’re all having a wonderful day with loved ones and/or delicious food (which also counts as a loved one).
Thank you so much for your support of Spirit Parade~ Enjoy this little token of our appreciation! ♥

IT IS STILL CHRISTMAS ON THE WEST COAST SO I’M ON TIME!! Merry Christmas everyone!! I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!!
Hi everyone! We’re updating before Sunday with some big news, both good and bad.
First off, the not-so-great news: Spirit Parade isn’t going to be ready for release by the end of 2015. We underestimated just how much time it would take to add the extra things such as the Mikio and Diaochan routes and the full voice-acting. The last thing we want to do is compromise on quality and put out a rushed, subpar game, so we’re going to push back the release date to make sure Spirit Parade is the best that it can be. We don’t anticipate it being released very late into 2016, but we’ll give a concrete release date once we get closer to the game being finished.Â
Of course, the preorder sales will continue at the price of $10 for the time being. People preordering Spirit Parade gives us the funds necessary to afford things like music for the game and supports the dev team while we work on it, so we deeply appreciate everyone who’s preordered the game so far. And, of course, we are very grateful for everyone’s support and interest in general. We will continue updating this blog every 2 weeks so you can see that we’re hard at work on the game.
The good news is that to tide everyone over while the game’s being completed, we’re releasing an updated version of the demo! This new demo has some updated art/UI, added Haiyue scenes (though he will only appear if you make certain choices), and full voice acting!
Here’s our voice cast list again:
Nara: Jill Harris Hayato: Mark Allen Jr. Shuye: SungWon Cho Haiyue: Howard Wang Mikio: River Kanoff (does not appear in the demo) Diaochan: Natalie Van Sistine (does not appear in the demo) Sakuya: Amanda Gonzalez Asuka: Sarah WilliamsÂ
Extra character voices are also provided by Curtis Arnott, Scott Frerichs, Anthony Sardinha, and Steven Kelly. The voice casting and direction are by Sound Cadence Studios.
You can download the demo from our itch.io page. The demo covers the entirety of the common route and also has two bad endings and two normal endings. We believe the game is about at a CERO-C/PG-13 level for some language and stylized violence. We have a font selection option so that you may change the game’s font to Open Dyslexic and all other game menus such as the CG Gallery and Music Box are functional.
The story centers on Nara (her name can be set by the player), a cynical 17-year-old girl who mostly shut herself off from the world after contracting spinal polio at a young age and becoming unable to walk. One night while at a festival in town, her soul is suddenly pulled from her body and transported to the Spirit World, where all the demons and spirits are celebrating a month-long festival. Until the end of this festival, Nara won’t be able to return home…
Please let us know what you think of the game by tagging your Tumblr posts and tweets with #SpiritParade or #Spirit Parade! We would appreciate any feedback you might have. Thank you again for your support!
Our apologies for missing last week’s update (and being a day late with this one)! We’ve been very busy around here. As we get further into game development, there’s less and less that we can show (without it being spoilery) so we might have to start doing biweekly updates so that we can avoid really empty update posts. We’ll keep you all posted!Â
Anyway, as a little treat and apology for our lateness, I recorded a video instead of just posting up screencaps. This is Mikio’s introduction scene in the game. His route piggybacks off of Hayato’s, so you need to make sure you’re staying at the kitsune house or else he won’t appear. I’m wrapping up writing Mikio’s route and should be starting on the Underworld trio very soon. Exciting stuff!
Thank you so much for your support and interest, everyone! And if you haven’t seen it yet, this romantic visual novel Hustle Cat is currently up on Kickstarter and has a demo out. It looks like it’s going to be a very charming game full of cute cats (!!) so check it out if you haven’t had a chance to yet.
This is a special update for people who’ve already preordered Spirit Parade. We’ve updated the minigame demo so that it includes all three levels. The demo also now keeps track of your score. If you haven’t yet, pre-order the game today and you’ll get download access.Â
The demo is available for download from your purchase page or from the game’s page on itch.io if you’re logged in. Please note that this demo might not be the final version of this mini-game. There might be some additional tweaks to the gameplay or graphics before the full release.
We would appreciate any feedback you might have. Thank you again for your support!

Hi everyone! Rins here! We’re gonna update the blog a little early this week (instead of our usual Sunday) with something really special! We’ve been working closely with Sound Cadence Studios on the voice acting for our game and we’re finally putting it all together now!
This sneak peek is just the tutorial on how to play the game but we will be rereleasing the demo with Haiyue’s route available once we have everything edited and coded! Enjoy!
Hayato voiced by Mark Allen Jr Shuye voiced by SungWon Cho (ProZD) Nara voiced by Jill Harris

OVERDRIVE is a webcomic by my friend Srinitybeast (alienkittycat on Tumblr) that’s currently entered in Webtoons’ Science Fiction Comics Contest. It centers on siblings Mordecai (Mordy) and Piper (Pipes) Bell as they try to amass fame, glory, and most importantly money underground through bot fighting. Mordecai orders a new fighter bot that ends up looking nothing like the rough and tough warrior that he’d hoped for. Size isn’t everything, though, and there might be more to the petite Amp than meets the eye…
Aside from having an intriguing story and cast, the art in this comic is just fantastic. I think there’s something here for everyone, even if you’re not that into science fiction stuff.
If you’re interested, please check out OVERDRIVE! There’s two chapters out so far, with more to come soon. Reader response is also important for the contest, so if you could rate, like, add the comic to your favorites, or leave a comment, it would really help Srin out, as would reblogging this post or plugging the comic elsewhere. Thanks for reading! Please follow overdrivecomic for extras and updates related to the comic~!
Mikazuki Munechika dakimakura that I’m going to be selling at A-kon 26!
It’s also available for preorder on my Storenvy along with the previous dakimakuras I’ve done. If you pre-order, it’ll be available to ship in late May to early June.
The Blind Griffin has been released!
It’s the roaring 20’s. Alcohol-loving Americans are chafing underneath the restrictions of Prohibition, but speakeasies have thankfully risen to fill the void with ill-begotten booze. The Blind Griffin is one such speakeasy in San Francisco, California, but it’s about to go out of business…because its employees are a den of magicians who are more concerned with their magical studies and experiments than moonshine! Desperate not to lose the building that has become their haven, they hire the first streetsmart guttersnipe they find with some experience to help turn things around, but could she perhaps turn out to be the strongest magician of them all?
This game has 10 endings and 6 CGs. All writing/programming was done by me, Lorelei. The art was a joint effort between Auro-Cyanide and Rinslettuce. Noyemi K was our music composer.
The game contains 2,845 dialogue blocks, containing 30,769 words and 162,469 characters, for an average of 10.8 words and 57 characters per block. The game contains 12 menus, 237 images, and 64 screens.
For more information about the game and to download, please see the official website. The game is free to download but if you’d like to leave us a tip, we’d really appreciate it! The OST will be up for digital download/sale at a later date. The LSF thread is here if you’d like to leave us some more detailed comments. We highly encourage all kinds of feedback, liveblogging, LPs, etc. Enjoy!
hey guys, I made a patreon!
I’m a broke college student in major debt who doesn’t have a lot of free time, so I made a patreon which I feel will be better for those who can’t afford my commission prices but would still like to support me. This will allow me to continue drawing the same...
