“I’ll worry about you whether you like it or not” there was absolutely no way he couldn’t worry about Reznik, about Brady, both of them were important to him, and he’d worry about them both. It didn’t matter if he asked about Brady while simultaneously asking about Reznik, that didn’t detract from anything, would never detract from anything. He’d love to know though, love to know who helped them, who got them out of there, whether it was genuinely someone on their side, or… or maybe just an act of pity.
“Always… and don’t tell me not too” words accompanied by a prod to the redheads chest “You’re just as important as Brady…”
Kazu knew for a fact if any of those generals had found them… he didn’t want to think about the outcome, although he knew he’d have never seen them again, never known what happened to them, they’d have died in the frozen wasteland, so far from home… so far from him. “I’m guessing their creatures aren't friendly then” it would seem not much from that world was friendly. He’d love to get a look though.
Love to get the inside look that Reznik and Brady had been given, perhaps work out weaknesses in the animals, or in their defences or anything they could use… but of course it’d been them, they’d been the ones to be catapulted to the other world not him, he’d had very little chances to spot any weaknesses besides the obvious one that their magic didn’t quite work as well as they’d hoped it would over on Earth.
That didn’t stop the stronger generals from being the most terrifying things he’d ever seen though. “Did you see any weaknesses maybe? Besides the obvious?”
A small smile graced his lips from the prod. “I know. But Brady is the one we worry about when the trouble starts.” He was the one Reznik needed to reassure about being okay. That was just how it was, and he didn’t bother trying to take it in a way that would offend him or anything. “Neither of us can help wondering how he is, so I was just trying to answer the question.” Besides, he was clearly alright since he could stand and walk without trouble. Brady wasn’t even in sight.
“And no, the animals aren’t any more friendly over there than they are here.” That was just the nature of their planet, it seemed.
“But if you’re looking for intel, there isn’t much I can give you. We didn’t see any sign of people being around for at least a hundred years; the entire surface of their planet is a frozen wasteland.” It didn’t matter who it was that was looking at it, they weren’t going to get much in the way of useful fighting tips when they couldn’t even look at how their enemies did anything.
The redhead took a step back, rolling his shoulders and glancing away. “The animals are vicious because they’re dying; it’s hard to find them because they feel the need to hide. The only thing I can think of as a weakness for their people is the heat here since there was no form of any warmth there at all. It was hard to even make fire.”
Crimson irises slid back to land on Kazu. “Their planet is dying. You can see it when you look at the sun... it doesn’t look right.” Normally the sun was supposed to burn bright and hot. Above that wasteland it didn’t manage either. “I don’t know much about science, but I don’t think that was a healthy one. What happens when one of those things starts to go cold?”
