It was an average day on Beechwood- well as average as a day with the Sinclairs can be. It seemed like every day there was a new event, a new color code you needed to follow. It was so exhausting and nerve-racking. But you would do anything for Johnny, your boyfriend of a little over a year.Â
Both your mothers finally agreed it was appropriate to join them at Beechwood for the summer. When you two started dating last April, Johnny wanted you on Beechwood that summer, but both your mothers deemed that too inappropriate at the time. But over the past year, the two of you proved that you could be trusted. You both slept in separate houses, obviously- you in Windemere with Cady and her mother and Johnny at Red Gate. That didnât mean the two of you didnât find time to be alone together.Â
Johnny never really told you about his family before you arrived on Beechwood, but Carrie and Ed were very nice and welcoming to you, so you hoped it would be the same on the island and it was! Mostly. Sometimes it felt like a war zone between the 3 moms, their fights going between hushed whispers to arguments you could hear through the walls. You had no idea what they were about, but you noticed Johnny got very tense sometimes during these moments. But as quick as they started, Johnny was even quicker to distract you, so you never paid much attention to anyone's behavior.Â
Just like tonight, as soon as dinner ended, Johnny's grandparents took the littles to do an activity and the moms began bickering quietly, leaving you and the liars at the table still, entirely free and unsupervised.Â
âSo, what should we do? Night swimming? Play board games? See who can do the best impression of grandad at dinner tonight?â Mirren started, energetically and wide-eyed, looking at Gat and Cady who were across from you three.Â
Mirrenâs chest puffed up, ready to do an impression of their Grandad, âCady, my favorite grandchild, tell me-â, âSo sorry to cut your groundbreaking performance of our grandfather short,â Johnny said, cutting Mirren off to which she looked greatly offended, âbut uh- y/n and I have other plans for tonight!â.Â
âWe do?â you asked quickly. âYes, we do, my sweet,â he said looking at the liars, then looking at you impatiently, âso letâs goâ.Â
âOh, barf,â Mirren gagged while Cady and Gat started laughing hysterically. Your face went bright red as you and Johnny stood up, him grabbing your hand quickly.Â
âSorry, Mirren! That was a really good impression, I canât wait to see the rest of it another time!â you apologized as Johnny dragged you out.Â
Within a split second, Johnny had you inside of his room at Red Gate- a place you were absolutely not allowed in. âJohnny!â you scolded as he closed the door behind you two, âWhat are you doing? Weâre not allowed to be in here alone!â. Johnny just pressed you up against the door, kissing you passionately.Â
âWith the moms arguing and my grandparents taking the littles, we have at least 30 minutes before anyone will even step foot inside of Red Gateâ. He looked down at you with his signature slick smile, making your knees weak.Â
You shouldâve been arguing with him, but you were so down bad for this boy, you didnât even care. You grabbed his long-sleeved collared polo and closed the gap between the two of you, kissing him just as passionately as he had just seconds ago.Â
You two became animalistic, pushing each other's faces back and forth, his hand wrapping around your lower back and around the back of your neck.Â
You separated, pushing him back towards his bed, âw-o-oah,â he chuckled as you pushed him down onto his back on the bed, his hands flying up.Â
The two of you had done stuff a couple times before but it was always quiet and rushed. But this was the first time you guys could be as loud as you wanted and it felt like a new persona was rushing over you.Â
You quickly climbed on top of him, continuing to kiss him. He slowly pushed his way up so that he was sitting. You separated from his lips once again to grab the bottom of his shirt, signaling that you wanted it off of him.Â
âYou gonna ask nicely, pretty girl?â he looked at you teasingly. Whenever he calls you that, your brain just turns off. He really can make you fold at the snap of his fingers. You just whined tugging at his shirt.Â
âUh-uh,â he said mockingly, grabbing your hands, âI need you to use your words, my sweet.â. âPlease,â you said quietly. He kissed your forehead and grabbed the bottom of his shirt, taking it off. Your hands immediately found his chest, dragging your hands up and down his chest, admiring his toned body for a second.Â
âWell, this is just not fair,â he said teasing again, âwhat should we do about that?â. You knew immediately what he wanted. You took off your shirt so quickly, even Johnny was surprised. âSomebodyâs eager,â he laughed, but he knew he wasnât much better because he unclasped your bra and had one of your nipples in his mouth so quickly you couldnât even comprehend what was happening.Â
All you could do was let out soft whimpers as he massaged and sucked them, throwing your head back. To make matters worse- or better- in your case, his mouth on you distracted you so much you didnât even notice his right hand finding his way to your pants, trailing his hand inside, rubbing your sensitive bud. You immediately took your hands from his hair, grabbing his hand. The pleasure was too good.Â
But as hard as you tried to pry his hand away, he was stronger. He took advantage of your overwhelmed state and flipped you over, using his left hand to grab your hands, putting them above your head, continuing his work with his right hand. âAre you gonna let me do my job, pretty girl,â he whispered in your ear. You just nodded profusely. But as soon as your hips started bucking, signaling you were close, he took his hand away. Your eyes went wide.Â
âJ-Johhny why?!â you whined, your legs flailing ever so slightly. âBecause, my sweet, I canât wait any longer,â he said, sweetly, although his words were the utter opposite of that. Johnny was always sweet to you.Â
Actually, when you think about it, Johnny has never raised his voice at you. Ever. He always treated you like you were the most precious thing on this planet Earth. You giggled sweetly, âOkay,â Johnny smiled wide, kissing your forehead, âOkay,â he said assuringly.Â
He stood up, undoing his pants, you doing the same, lifting up your hips to get all of your clothes off of your bottom half. Soon, you were both entirely naked. He leaned down, grabbing your face, giving you one last final kiss. Both of you chest to chest, the feeling almost being euphoric. Not being able to touch each other 24/7 on Beechwood was torture for you two but it made it made these moments that much more special.Â
His thrusts got faster, lips still connected. Soon, you had finished, you had never felt better and the way Johnny was acting, you assumed it was the same for him too. He soon finished after you, spilling all over your stomach. He collapsed on top of you for a few seconds, your hands subconsciously running through his blonde hair.Â
The sweet moment was soon interrupted by Johnny attacking your face with kisses. âHi,â he said, beaming the biggest smile, making your heart melt. âHi,â you said sweetly as you played with the chain hanging around his neck.Â
He kissed you quickly before standing up and putting on his boxers and pants, then walking over to his bedroom door. He quietly opened it, looking around to make sure the coast was clear before walking to the bathroom and grabbing a wet washcloth. He walked back in, closing the door behind him, and walked over to you, gently wiping you down, before grabbing your clothes, carefully helping you put them on, kissing you in between each article.Â
âYou know what I feel like,â he said after giving you your final kiss, walking over to his shirt that was now across the room. âWhat's that?â you asked, admiring the way his back muscles flexed as he threw his shirt over his head. âTriple-decker smores,â he said dreamily. You laughed.
âThat does sound delicious,â you stated. âRight?!â he said, his eyes lighting up with excitement. âOkay!â he clapped his hands together, âI-â he pointed at himself, âwill head out of Red Gate to make sure the coast is clear, and then you-â he pointed at you, âcan wait a couple minutes before following me. You know, because seeing the two of us walking out together will insinuate that we did something very sinful! And the Sinclairs do not sin, let me tell you,â he spewed.Â
You loved his humour; it was one of the things that made you fall for him. He knew exactly what to say to cheer you up. He was thoughtful like that. You agreed to the plan, still sitting on his bed. He looked at you endearingly as he walked over to you, cupping your face in his hands, kissing you tenderly. âAnd I will see you, my love, by the campfire.â.Â
You nodded as he walked out of the room. You waited a few minutes, looking around his room to pass the time. As soon as it was clear to leave, you walked down the stairs, admiring the pictures that lined the walls as you passed them.Â
âMy sweet boy,â you thought. You had a small smile on your face as you left Red Gate completely unscathed and made your way to the campfire like Johnny had told you to do.Â
The smile soon left your face as you saw Johnny and Gat face-to-face; it didnât look good. Cady was standing behind them; it looked like she was trying to reason with them.Â
âWhat the hell?â you muttered under your breath as you picked up your pace, curious as to what could have happened in the short time you two were apart.Â
âDo you think you havenât caused destruction this summer?â you heard Johnny seethe, he continued, âDo you think you arenât wrecking a perfectly good ecosystem, right fucking now?â. Cady looked confused behind them, and you were too.Â
âFuck you!â Gat yelled. âNo. Fuck you!â Johnny fought back. Thatâs when you saw Gat snap, pushing Johnny back. âReally?!â Johnny yelled, pushing Gat back now, too. âJohnny!â you yelled, running towards them.Â
You werenât paying attention to what they were saying anymore; all you could see was Cady frozen in fear, not knowing what to do, and two boys who looked like they were going to murder each other. But, before you could get up to them, Mirrenâs dad stepped in, separating the two boys, telling them to walk it off. Johnny was now walking in your direction again.Â
âJohnny, what-?â You tried asking him what happened, but he must not have seen you. âSuch a fucking hypocrite!â he yelled, storming past you.Â
âJohnny!â you yelled again. Still no response. He was walking way too fast for you. You kept yelling his name, trying to catch up to him, still so confused. He and Gat were best friends. What could have possibly gone wrong?Â
Johnny entered Red Gate, slamming the door behind him. You knew there was a higher chance you two would get in trouble for being alone now, but you didnât care. You entered the house, closing the door behind you.Â
You didnât see where Johnny went at first, but you soon found him because you heard the sound of his things crashing to the floor. You followed the sound to his room. When you opened the door, Johnny was looking up at the ceiling, pacing back and forth. The stuff that was originally on his nightstand was now scattered on the floor.Â
âJohnny, baby, whatâs wrong?â you asked, beginning to walk up behind him, âWhat happened?-â your hand touched his back.Â
It happened so quickly. He turned around and stared into your eyes for a split second before pushing your hand away from him. But, he pushed a little too hard, so caught up in his rage, you fell backwards to the ground, hitting your head on the floor.Â
âOh, shit!â he yelled, rushing down to you. You lay there for a second. Not because your head hurt, it honestly felt fine, more from shock. You couldnât believe that just happened. âY/n- fuck, Iâm so sorry-â, Johnny was panicking now, but you were still too in shock to react.Â
You had never seen Johnny like that. Sure, you knew of an incident that he was involved in at school, but no one ever told you exactly what happened, so you assumed it wasnât that bad. You had seen him get mad at his brother, but everyone gets mad at their brother. This was different. That wasnât your sweet boy who you were with less than 10 minutes ago. You had no idea who that was.Â
He tried lifting your head up, wrapping his other hand around your waist. You just hit his hand away. âY/n, please look at me.â. You could hear his voice shaking. It took you a second, but you sat yourself up and finally faced him. His eyes were red from being on the verge of tears, but the look in his eyes a minute ago was different. They were full of rage- something you had never seen from Johnny. Ever.Â
âAre you okay?â he asked, his voice still shaking. You both were now sitting on the floor, shaken up by the turn of events. âY-Yeah, I think so.â. His hand found your face, and you flinched ever so slightly. The pain in his eyes hurt more than when you fell to the ground. âIâm so sorry Y/n- Iâm so, so sorry,â he started crying.Â
You didnât even think; you immediately got to your knees and held him. His hands wrapped around your waist, his head in your chest. You had never seen him cry. He was always in a good mood, and even if something upset him, he never showed it. He always kept up a brave face for you.Â
You sat there for what felt like hours, but it was probably only a few minutes. Your heart was breaking. You didnât know what happened but it seemed like something had taken over Johnny.Â
Your mind was racing. Is he like this all the time? Did he mean to push you? Why did he get so violent so quickly? You had to admit, a small part of you was scared, and you think Johnny knew that. Thatâs what broke him the most.Â
Once his sobs calmed down, you let go, silently standing up and guiding Johnny to follow. You sat the two of you down against the head of the bed. You wrapped your arms around him, his head finding its place on your chest once more. You stayed silent for a few more minutes before you asked again.Â
âWhat happened, Johnny?â. He took a few seconds before starting. âYou know how Cady and Gat have been getting a little cozy this summer?â, âMhm,â you hummed, willing him to continue.Â
âGat has a girlfriend back at home and Cady doesnât know, but Gat acts all holy compared to the sinclairs like weâre these awful people but heâs literally cheating on his girlfriend with my cousin, and Iâm fucking sick and tired of it!â he got angry again at the end, cutting himself off before it became too much again.Â
You just ran your hands through his hair while he calmed down before you continued, âbut what was that?â. Your voice shook, a tear falling from your eye. You quickly wiped it away, causing Johnny to look up. He sat up quickly, now laying his head on top of yours and embracing you.Â
âIâm sorry, Y/n,â he said, but you continued, âThat wasnât my sweet boy back there and the boy that looked at me, looked angry, even though I didnât do anything.â You were the one crying into his chest now. He kept kissing your forehead while you tried to catch your breath, âYou scared me, Johnny, Iâve never seen you like that before.â.Â
Johnny just let you calm down before he took a long sigh, grabbing your hands, looking into your eyes. They were sweet like before. âWhen I was little, my dad used to get really, really mad. My mom used to just tell me that he saw red. I didnât really understand what that meant. Until it started happening to me. I just-â he was starting to get upset again, âI just get so angry that I just canât stop myself. I always promised myself that I would never let it get that bad around you because I donât want to scare you off because you make all of the bad stuff seem good. Thatâs why I wanted you to come so damn bad. I mean, obviously to spend all summer with you,â he smiled, making you smile too, âBut I also wanted you to come because when shit happens with my mom, or my aunts, or anyone in my family, I see you and everything doesnât seem so bad. I guess that time it just got so bad, nothing could help.âÂ
âJohnny-â you started, trying to comfort him. âNo, Y/n, thatâs what Iâm afraid of, what if one day- what if it gets so bad, I do something even worse to you. On pur- on purpose. A-And then youâll leave me because I canât control it and-â, He started getting emotional again.Â
âJohnny-â you tried again, once again getting cut off, âNo-Y/nâ, âJohnny!â He went quiet. You stroked his face with your hand, âThat will never happen.â, âBut what if-â, âNo âwhat ifâsâ. I will never leave you because I wonât ever let it get to that point. I now know what to do if it does get that bad and we can get you help to control it- in healthy ways. I know you Sinclairs donât believe in therapy, but you and I can work on it together. Because Iâm in this. Forever.â You had never seen Johnny look at you with more love in his eyes than he did in that moment.Â
âForever?â he beamed. âForever, baby. Youâre stuck with me,â you giggled. âYes!â he cheered, tackling you onto your back, rolling you around. The two of you rolling around and laughing got interrupted by a cough coming from his door.Â
You two quickly separated, sitting up. It was Ed. He just gave you two a look. âWe werenât doing anything!â Johnny protested. Your face went bright red.Â
âY/n, I would get back to Windemere before Penny notices you're gone and reports to the Sinclair authorities,â he whispered the last part dramatically, making you and Johnny laugh slightly. âYes, sir,â you said before standing up. You turned around, âForever starting tomorrow.â.Â
You gave Johnny a quick kiss before rushing out of the room. But before you got out of earshot, you heard Ed, âSheâs one of the good ones, Johnny.â âI know, I got really lucky, huh?â he laughed to himself.Â
A huge smile painted your face before you reached the bottom of the stairs, out the door of Red Gate, and back to Windemere, not even able to wait to see him tomorrow.
