  The situation was amusing, to say the least. Rize was seated on the white wooden chair, her supposed blind date staying right in front of her. They haven’t muttered a single word until now, the shock of a common friend setting them up, a vampire and a werewolf, being too much for the both of them. Thinking about it more, Rize couldn’t really recall the last time she had meet a werewolf, but it wasn’t like she was searching for them either, so maybe she just didn’t care enough. Twirling the ring that she had on her finger, the vampire had slowly initiated eye contact with the other, opening her mouth slowly to break the ice between them.

   ❛❛You know--❜❜

  She had started, wanting to make the other pay attention to her fully before continuing, and there was now a slight devious smirk on her lips, her figure leaning forward towards the table so she could look at the werewolf with a protruding gaze.

   ❛❛I have a dog. Her name is Kiko. She is very adorable.❜❜

  The vampire was only a little bit taking a jab at the fact that he was a werewolf. Mind you, only a little bit, she could’ve had said something much worse. She thought that to herself too, suddenly leaning back and opening her purse that was staying nicely on the side of the table. Then, she took out her phone, looking through it quickly before turning it around to show the man a picture of her akita inu.

  And there she was. Adding more fuel.

  Considering that it was a saturday night, the nightclub was packed tonight and Rize couldn’t have been more excited about it. Her eyes were scanning the immense room, looking around and taking notice of new faces or ones that she had seen before. This was, without a question, her time to have fun and do whatever she pleased. Sipping out of her cup, the vampire let her eyes linger more on a young man that she could recognize. He was a little bit older than twenty, she guessed, and his black hair was fitting his skin complexion quite well. While looking at him, Rize had noticed how much of an open book he was. He would let every emotion pass through his face easily and there didn’t seem to be a time that he’d have an ignorant reaction to something, and the people next to him, his friends probably, were seeming to make jokes and laugh away. They didn’t appear to be as entrancing as he was, though. 

  Interested by him to some limit, Rize had decided that she couldn’t just stay away. Waiting for the perfect time, she had continued sipping patiently on the red liquid in her cup until it had all been gone and she had put it down, signaling to the employee to take it away as she had seen an opening. One of his friends had gotten up from the seat next to him and it looked like almost all of them had went up to dance, as one would in a nightclub, except him but judging from his gaze towards the dance floor, he had the same thought. Pushing herself to her feet from the high stool that she was previously sitting on, Rize made her way towards the other rather elegantly, not forgetting to paint a smile on her red colored lips. When she was right in front of him, she had leaned forward slightly so she could start the conversation, the booming music making it hard to actually hear anything unless it was talked a little bit more loudly.

  The actual her would never ask. She would have just sat on it, not caring about his answer but for the sake of making herself seem likeable, Rize had resorted to playing the sweet, mindful card.

  There was clear tension in the air, among the smell of cleaning supplies and Rize was the whole reason for it. She was sitting curled up on the bathroom floor of some random caffè that she didn’t even know the name of, with an usual frown on her face. Funnily enough, the frown that took up the space on her rose-colored lips was much more natural than anything else about her. Her dark brown eyes were fixed on a young girl, probably no younger than twenty, that was right in front of her. The girl, unknowingly then, had walked in on a fight that she had with her mother just a couple of minutes back, before her mother had stormed off and left her there with the girl who seemed too shocked to move. Finally getting tired of the tension that seemed to stay longer than it should have, Rize had chosen to break it.

   ❛❛What is it? You have never seen someone get slapped by their mother?❜❜

  Her words were coated with an intent of sarcasm and yet she couldn’t help but let out a deep sigh after them, losing the eye contact that she had held over the girl to place her head on her knees. Even though her relationship with her mother had always been slightly estranged, lately they have been becoming surely strangers. Her mother didn’t approve of her lifestyle, you see, she thought she was being selfish, immature, that she should finally mind her own business and stop playing with others. She didn’t get it, she didn’t understand how Rize was dealing with it, with being alive, and it was hurting her to some extent because after all, it was her mother, the only person that had stayed with her for so long and she was now giving up.

  There was a weird harmony between the both of them, from the first night that they have met and had an in-depth talk about how the buildings just look kinda weird. Usually, Rize wouldn’t bother with such trivial things, but the man had been so passionate about it while throwing straight facts to the girl and he didn’t even seem to mind how she was a complete stranger. His demeanor and overall personality, amused the mature vampire dearly and she couldn’t help but show her best side to him, not letting it known that she was actually considering him to be a prey. She was, more or less, waiting for him to be down so she could just not help him back up. 

  It was night, once again, and Rize was walking alongside her partner quite slowly, enjoying the city lights that seemed to brighten the whole view. Even though the vampire does indeed like the darkness of the night more, she supposes some light in her life wouldn’t hurt. When the young man next to her (the night owl, she had nicknamed him) had said something funny, she had let out a giggle that seemed natural to unknown ears and she had looked over to him, a tiny smile on her lips as she said the next words.

   ❛❛Maybe you should let me see your sketches one day! I think I’d love them.❜❜ 

  That sentence was almost but not entirely fake. She wasn’t interested in his sketches at all but she could appreciate good ones, if they were. She keeps these thoughts to herself, though, and the small smile on her lips remains unwavering.

in the night

prompt #32: night partner: @rizefey​

The night was too promising for Minjun to just stay at work, dealing with a few annoying customers. Despite having them complaining because he was closing off two hours earlier, he just shrugged the complains, knowing very well they would return; they always did.

Taking a deep breath as his steps led him to one of the hottest spots in town, he didn’t mind the stares as he approached the familiar club and its line. Minjun was aware of his beauty and his aura, he welcomed the stares and even offered them a few seductive smiles, though they wouldn’t offer anything other than a tease.

The hairs on the back of his blonde maze stood up and he felt the air shifting when he noticed something different surrounding him – darkness was easily detectable once you’re part of it and for Minjun wasn’t different. The alley smelled different, sweeter but also metallic, the familiar smell of blood.

“I can see you there”, he offered the darkness, knowing he didn’t see anyone, but still curiously calling out whoever was watching him.

  It was a well known fact around the district that Rize absolutely hates vampires who feed around her nightclub and then don’t clean up. Actually, she had put up a ban on it just a few nights back, but considering the heavy iron smell in the air, she was pretty sure that the fellow vampire didn’t get the information just yet. Oh, but they will for sure get it when she finds out who they were-- for now, though, the mature vampire just pursed her lips against each other, watching closely the man that let it be known to the few around him that there was, indeed, someone in the alley, alert and pretty much ready to attack again. 

  Not wanting a scene to break down right in front of her nightclub since damn, that would be bad business, Rize twirled the lollipop she had in her hand, bringing it up to her mouth and giving it a swirl before approaching the young man slowly with easy steps, stopping right when she was next to him. She took the lollipop out then, staring into the darkness as he was, glaring with a scoff on her face to let the vampire take good notice of her before she had turned around to face the witch - he was smelling of potions and books, it was easy to figure it out - with a blinding smile, a completely different reaction than the one she offered to the person who was giving her troubles.

Yuh, let’s get into it--

Hello fellow friendly ghosts, this is Blossom over here with my dear vampire, Rize. ( caution : she does, indeed, bite ) You can look over her profile HERE for now, but I am not done with her backstory yet because I wasn’t happy with the end result. 

I will get to my messages slowly, but that’s because I want to check out everyone who had took time to message me and I will do my very best to come up with an idea for our muses and share it, to see if it’s good enough!

Following, I’ll write some - more or less - facts about her and maybe some random ideas for plots.

her full name is moriyama rize

her mother calls her ame

she is around 316 years old

she was originally a human but she was very very very and i cannot stress this enough very weak because she had an unknown illness that was killing her slowly

her mother had done everything in her power to not let her daughter’s life just end-- she got a vampire to bite her and everything!!

oh and would you look at that her mother had gotten bit too--- so they basically became vampire mother & daughter ( who needs a dad, right ) 

she moves around a lot so she knows some languages

she is a co-owner of a nightclub called ODD CIRCLE, her mother is the actual owner

she used to be nice and kind when she was a human, but she had lost those qualities after being a vampire for around 60-80 years

she is pretty much an asshole now and she doesn’t really care about anything, but she gets a little heated up when she gets in arguments that she knows she’s right about

she might be a two-faced vampire sometimes, she pulls a charming act on when she has to

( watermelon sugar ) m/f, any species - rize takes a sudden interest in you and wants to know more because you just don’t seem like the type that would come in a nightclub and party. you might have her attention for the night, but how long is it gonna last?

( supalonely ) m/f, any species - basically, those toxic exes that just keep on doing things to spite each other. 

( ankles ) m/f, vampire - enemies, there’s a deep hatred between them and there’s always something going down whenever they meet.

( soap ) m/f, any species - rize has a soft spot for you. this doesn’t exactly mean that she’d do anything for you, but you’re the closest person that she’d do a favor for, without asking for much in return.

( at least i look cool ) m/f, any species - since you’ve known her, rize always had her own reusable cup that you’d see her carrying around. she explained that it’s coffee everytime you’ve asked about it, but is it really?

( imagine if ) m/f, any species - rize stands up for you in the club when someone tries to push their luck with you and so far, she seems really nice - but that’s not the real her and she has an ulterior reason.

( fresh roses ) m/f, any species - as any other being, rize has her own problems and breakdowns, even though she doesn’t let anyone know. well, you catch her in one of these moments - and she’s not gonna let you live to tell the tale. or maybe...?
