About Gaza Funds
tbh a lot of my advice boils down to “hey you know that terrible horrible looming thing you’re doing your best to avoid and distract and escape as much as possible but no matter what you do it just keeps looming and looming and ruining your life”
“just, fuckign, run straight at it screaming.”
i needed this as a background
stay vigilant. there are still people out there who will try to convince you that eating fruit is somehow bad for your body

Coat by Sharron Hedges, 1983.
Sharron Hedges is an INCREDIBLE textile artist, one of the initial pioneers of the Art to Wear movement of the ~70s. This piece is called Morpho, and it represents approximately a year of work.
Hedges’ pieces are incomparable!
There is an episode of PBS’s great series Craft In America that features Hedges, and it’s well worth a watch!

"Comet Donati", colour lithograph by Philippe Benoist, from Amédée Guillemin's Le Ciel (1877).
Two years ago, the occupation destroyed our home, turning our dreams, memories, and everything we owned into piles of rubble and ash, as seen in this picture.
Since that day, my family and I have been living in a tattered tent that offers no protection from the bitter cold of winter or the scorching heat of summer. Two years of continuous suffering under this worn-out fabric that neither shelters our bodies nor provides any shelter for our family. Today, I appeal to you with all my pain and suffering, asking for your support and assistance so that we can repair our tent and obtain food and water. I hope you will stand with us and not ignore us, friends.
Please help us through this ordeal and live a dignified life.Your support will make a huge difference in our lives and help us persevere and secure the most basic necessities and warmth for my family. Please don't leave us alone.
My friend Ahmed has been enduring unthinkable conditions. He has gone without clean water and nutritious food for long periods. He has become severely anemic and made dizzy with hunger. He is suffering in the heat in a densely populated refugee camp, afraid of bombings that could come at any time. Ahmed deserves love and support. Please help him!
sometimes it’s just nice to receive the same energy you put out
Pulitzer Prize type shit
Why's this dude built like crash bandicoot
Everything about this damn post is so funny to me. The lighting of the arm from the flash. The posing of the arm like a dramatic death from a novella. The fact the photo somehow got taken still and looks this good. The subreddit name. The fact this guy really is built like crash bandicoot

Photo from my collection. On the back is written, “Queen of the ferry - mine is nearest her.” No date/location.
Is it socially acceptable to use opaque watercolors, or is that considered gouache?
It could be a sign of a bad temperament.
