So much peace to be found in realizing that social interactions are inherently “awkward.” People will always talk over each other or pause in a conversation or run dry for topics at times. It does not mean you’re uniquely horrible or that you don’t know how to socialize. I think it’s the way you react to it (either with anxiety or with nonchalance) that actually dictates how much weight it has.
