The Tates
“Go to hell, Joe.”
Yep, his mates in hell are already waiting for Joe there, that’s for sure.
Home Farm Owners/Families over the years
Some of the latest ED Spoilers from the Summer Preview and my thoughts about them…
Reminding everyone Sarah is a Sugden…
Okay. We will all just pretend it’s not weird as hell that she is suddenly hanging around her Uncle Robert (and Aaron). 🤣 We might actually get Robron babysitting their great niece 🥹 ! And when the shit hits the fan about baby Leyla’s true parentage, Sarah might just turn her back on the Dingles! YES!! We all know Jacob will … he probably wants rid of them now. 🤣
Arrivals to strengthen the Tate and Sugden clans…
This better mean Seb will be back in the village soon!! (I don’t care about more Tates.)
Caleb hasn’t forgotten about his stolen kidney … he and Ruby work together to get the ultimate revenge on Joe.
I’m sure the massive scar where his kidney should be is a good reminder 🙄. The “ultimate revenge”… well I guess this could mean that Moira and Co.’s plan for Joe’s demise fails? 🤷🏽♀️
A “dalliance” between Ross and LAUREL?!?
Is she going to end up pregnant as well? 😒
Kev and Lewis building a father & son relationship … and building on the Barton family.
Utter BS that Lewis is a Barton and the implication that Kev’s return and connection to Lewis would be “building on the Barton family” is insulting! Being back ADAM!! Bring back PETE!!
Cain’s prostate cancer …exploring the side effects and how someone like Cain navigates it.
I’ll tell you how … in true Cain Dingle fashion - BADLY! Besides assaulting someone days after surgery, he’s probably going to end up sleeping with Charity (since she’s always up for setting her life on fire). 🤷🏽♀️
Big stunts … a big massive bombshell on the village that is going to change lives forever.
Are we talking a literal bomb? Who’s dying?
I have the opposite impression you girls have of Nick and giving people forgiveness and second chances. He's vicious when he attacks but he almost always leaves the door open, most people just don't take it after the harassment groypers can pull. He reconciled with Andrew Wilson after they doxxed each other's families. Reconciled with Christian Tate and didn't even mention that he repeatedly called him a faggot before "changing his mind about Nick" (I suspect the Tates just decided to pander to groypers since the criminal court stuff was losing them their mainstream audience). Reconciled with Ted Feaser after Feaser called him every bad thing under the sun with basically just a truce. Reconciled with sneako after... whatever it is they have going on, but they've gone back and forth more than once.
Imo because Nick's fights are so public and he can be very mean, people forget that in many ways he does crave public approval and would reconcile with any more mainstream figure he has beefed with if they stepped up first. He never said a bad thing about Pearl Davis even though she privated their interview and had a weird moment where she went back and forth on disavowing him after their interview. Only disavowed Ethan Ralph and Baked Alaska after months of them causing him trouble and damaging his reputation after they called him gay and a fed. He's been friends with Michelle Malkin, PaulTown, Beardson, and some lesser know people like Black Swan and Speckzo for years. He is volatile within relationships but people overstate how much he brings this into the public imo, to me it seems it's usually the other party initiating. John Doyle is a notable exception lol. He really did not like the guy. But in public he still just called him a nerd and nothing else until Doyle went completely against him.
What do you think, am I onto something?
you are definitely onto something and i actually don’t think we’re necessarily disagreeing at all, just looking at different aspects of the pattern. nick is more forgiving than people give him credit for, and it’s true that a lot of those reconciliations happened after major public fallouts
but i think that’s what made the keith situation feel so different, because keith didn’t publicly attack him, he didn’t try to humiliate him or farm attention off the drama. so nick never had to do damage control or posture through it. keith was never fazed by the groyper harassment under every post, he just blocked them LOL. therefore, it felt so easy for nick to just… miss him and then eventually forgive him. that's what makes nick's reconciliation with keith feel more emotionally charged and special than with others imo
so yeah, i think nick forgives more than people think, he just doesn’t always get the chance. it’s just rare that him & keith were so close, yet keith didn’t have to earn his forgiveness back. he didn’t actually ask for forgiveness and nick forgave him anyway. that made the whole dynamic and makeup feel special compared to others. it's different to his relationship to, for instance, sneako, because he never clicked with sneako on that level, as he did with someone like keith or jaden. so it wasn't that nick never forgives - it’s more that keith was someone nick didn’t actually want to lose in the first place, which made it seem so natural to welcome him back in with open arms
(you could argue otherwise, but nick did say that keith pushed him away first, at the end of the day. and having a falling out with someone, doesn't equal wanting to lose them in the first place)
Ummm I kinda hate Andrea already like bitch what were you doing driving like a fucking idiot around a horse 🔪🔪🔪 and no a bleeding cut on the leg is not fucking ‘fine’ horses break so easily it’s unreal.
So they replaced Joe with Kim?
I mean, tbf, character wise it's definitely an upgrade and it gives us a solid long term villain.
I wonder if her son will be making an appearance which is perhaps why Joe had to go?
