Gamora keeps things simple with her long list of murders and assassinations, all at the behest of Thanos. And Drax’s crimes are grievous bodily harm, murder, and every variety of destroying stuff you can imagine.” - James Gunn

his parents are still a sore subject lmao and while he might have come to terms with his mother’s death--he still gets quiet about it sometimes

quill isn’t the brightest bulb in the box (which, you know, tends to happen when you get abducted by aliens when ur only in the third grade)--but he’s the space-equivalent of street smart; if yondu’s taught him anything it’s how to survive.

peter will always try to talk himself out of a heated situation; failing that, he will try to disarm; failing that, he’ll shoot to kill. but he really, really doesn’t want to come to that. unless you break his stuFF or threaten his fam

music is peter’s first language. talk to him with mixtapes and playlists; share ur music with him! he might learn to appreciate you (protip: it’s the fastest way to bond with him. banter is an easy second.)
