En verdad que ya no uso este blog, si no, es porque algo me gusta y lo quiero ver después. Mi computadora se quedó sin memoria, estoy resolviendo pero soy demasiado mazeta para comprarme un disco duro.

I kind of wish I knew when asks are sent because...

I just read a good number of people thinking I’m dead. I’m not! I’m sorry!!! 

I still don’t have electricity where I live, we only just recently got water back (thankfully before the dry season kicked in cuz we were only surviving on filtered rainwater for cleaning/bathing/cooking etc.)  I know, the hurricane was six months ago, crazy right?  But my internet satellite fell to the ground and we kind of have it up by...hay string...you know the string you use to keep hay together...yeah. So...my internet is crazy slow and only small bandwidth social media loads and that’s p much where I spend most of my time whenever the gas generator is on.  I’m usually on twitter and I keep updating Cosmic Fish, although irregularly since I’m working on a lot of side jobs as a colorist for independent comics and art designer for a few apps and local games. But know that I am fine, still surviving but fine.  This year has not been kind in a lot of terms, but comic-wise, I’ve been doing pretty great. I was interviewed for theatre segments before movies start (local theatre but I dunno when that’s going up), I’m going to be in a documentary in May, there’s a nerd café in San Juan with nothing BUT my art and design, and I got accepted into both Universal Fan Con AND Thought Bubble in the UK. So...my names going around and that’s keeping me forward!  So yes I am fine and alive, just working with what I have. Sorry for making everyone worry and I hope everyone is alright! Satanists DO NOT worship Satan. “Satan” is the latin root for “the one whom opposes”. The name was purposlly chosen to piss off Christians. Satanists are opposed to everything religious, which means that they do not believe in God, therefore, they do not believe in Satan either. The misconceptions of Satanism come from the movies where you see people sacrificing goats and all that stuff, but it is not true. I have read the Satanic Bible. I can assure you that they do not believe in anything religious.

it really should scare anyone with human decency how #DACA is being put to an end by trump. over 28,000 immigrants are going to lose their jobs over this xenophobic and racist decision… and before anyone whines about how these immigrants don’t deserve jobs because they’re not “real Americans”,, dreamers have been in America since they were children. DACA literally stands for  Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. imagine being a child who comes into a country where you have to immediately adapt to learning a new language, get used to a new culture, and get to work a few years later right at the legal working age. these children have went through hell and back just to make a living in america, and it’s very disgusting how the trump administration wants to take that all away just because he wants to make america white again. 

there is no valid reason why trump wants to take away DACA other than blatant xenophobia because immigrants are not “stealing” your fucking jobs. that bullshit claim has been debunked a million times by professional economists. the #Dreamers caused no harm to this country, they’re just young immigrants who want to make a living for themselves and their future families. DACA has helped over 800,000 immigrants achieve their goals and dream of becoming successful in a different country. only racists who want to “purify” this country with whiteness would be against such a helpful program. anyone else who knows how to sympathize with other humans would know that this program is well needed.

It doesn’t have to be super long, just to a short explanation on why you think DACA deserves to be saved. after that it will automatically send a fax to your senator. and that’s it! And yo, right on board with you regarding attitudes on climate change. This is not a Santa Claus we have the luxury of believing/disbelieving for the love of god…

I will. Like I said, aside from not having electricity for a good while (a very good while) I’ll be mainly fine. Some Puerto Ricans in the US are getting ready to take up commissions to help raise funds for support toward people who will lose their homes, so honestly I’d say look out for those, cuz SO MANY PEOPLE will be without homes.

Okay so...things will not be ok in Puerto Rico. I don’t want people to panic, I don’t want people to worry. I’m (HOPEFULLY) SURE I’ll be fine because we live in a pretty solid and high area surrounded by wind-covering mountains. We at least have a higher chance.

That being said, the aftermath’s gonna be bad. I don’t know what will happen and it’s assumed we’ll be months (I mean some places might be over a year) without electricity. I don’t have phone signal/internet where I live so I can’t communicate with people. And without electricity, economic-wise, this is the final nail in the coffin for us.

We’re not going to be okay, and I don’t want to sugarcoat this because the media will ignore it or give a racist/colonial narrative. They’ll keep talking about the same politics, more mass migrations, the government will sell more lands, we won’t receive a lot of help but the rich/banks will attack like vultures (again). We’re genuinely fucked. (And yes, this storm is Climate Change in action, so fuck you and your entire family and future generations if you still claim it to be a hoax.) Anyway

I’ll find a way to let people know I’m alive and okay, but for now just...pay attention. Irma’s going to be worse than Harvey. If you’re in Florida just...get out of that state (if you can). We Puerto Ricans have nowhere to go, we’re on an island. But you can get the heck out of dodge, and I urge you to do so even if it’s just a precaution.
