True beauty ep 4 had so many good scenes yet so much stuff that really annoyed me, I don’t even know where to start.

It’s becoming more and more clear that the drama is really drifitng away from the webtoon and I can’t shake off the feeling that they are trying to make Suho look like the better guy.

-Seojun never hit Suho in the webtoon, he never even raised his hand towards him just said stuff to piss him off. Idk why it was necessary to add that.

-Why on earth is Suhos dad now involved with Seyeons death and why did Suho get beaten by those thugs, is it to make him look more pitiful so we root for him? Also Suho and Jug meeting as kids??

-Why is it that Suho gets a “cool” character addition like him now being strong and able to fight (when in the webtoon he got his ass kicked before) yet Seojuns character addition is him being conceited when he is actually really humble?

-I don’t like how we were just told about Seojun taking care of his mom and the bills it makes me think that they won’t show it like in the webtoon when it’s something that has made so many people fall in love with his character with how hardworking he is.

-Why didn’t they have Jugyeong and Seojun meet at the karaoke bar when in the webtoon they did and she finds out its him singing? His voice thoo <3

-I hate how they make it look like Seojun is trying to get between them to piss off Suho and that they made it into such an open love triangle that never happened in the webtoon just whyyyyy, Seojun never told Suho that he might like Jugyeong nor did they fight that openly over her in their high school days (istg if they don’t give me THAT act Seojun did for them I’ll throw hands)

-The scenes between Seojun and his mom are the best, and yes Jug Seojun is only rough on the outside but in reality he is a big softy with a huge heart and that’s why I love him

-Hwang In Yeop/Seojun is the spice of this show without him it would be boring (and I say this as someone who is very biased so take it with a grain of salt lmao)

-In Yeop and Ga Young have great chemistry it’s a shame, the banter between Jug and Seo was fun I always liked that part of their relationship

I actually have the feeling of my bias (Jeesu) went for the military and turns out it’s true! I am so glad to hear an update on Jeesu, even though it came from Day Day. As you guys know, Jeesu is not that active on social media. His last post on instagram was from 2018 and there are not much of him spotted in a group photo of the boys (when they usually meet up).
