In the beginning/mid way through(?) Roman was already blaming himself. Already saying Thomas needs less of him. What if- what if he doubles down on this thought process. And obviously what he takes as an insult from Janus well, he’s not really doing his best at all.

As a Roman stan from day one, and a Deceit stan since SVS, I have some thoughts:

What Roman said to Janus was terrible, and definielty not right, but we all know that Roman has a history of lashing out and hurting others when he himself is hurting.

In SVS, Roman got heat from the others for siding with Deceit, and he also ended up being the one to make the final decision to go to the wedding, even though he obviously wanted the callback, which probably crushed him.

Then in the latest video, Roman was essentially told that it was the wrong desicion and know suddenly eveyone is realizing Deceit was right, even though they were condemning Roman for that same thing just a couple episodes ago.

Everything he knew has been flipped around, so it's understandable why he is frustrated.

He also was manipulated by Deceit in SVS, so maybe he has figured that out and that's why he is especially reluctant to trust him again.

In conclusion: Roman is just confused and hurt, and unfortunately taking it out on others is the way he copes. I still stan and love my baby boy.

OH MY GOD and in the song at the beginning, in refernce to Deceit wanting to go to the call back, Roman said "if our goals aligned with his what would that say?" buT ROMANS GOAL DID ALIGN WITH DECEITS AT THE TIME

That's just further evidence that Roman felt ashamed for wanting to go to the callback.
