Redraw of that super cute picture ‘cause I love my spider boys and I needed their version of it 🕷️
I’ve seen people complain about Gwen saying to her dad “you’re a good cop” but I don’t think they understand what that scene actually means. Gwen’s dad is supposed to represent the “good cop”. It’s like Gwen says: he puts on that badge everyday so someone worse than him doesn’t. Pre Gwen’s reveal, he SEEMS like a good person, advocating for bringing peter’s killer to justice. But then he finds out, and in that moment, values the law over his teenage daughter. He even shows it in their reconciliation scene, even after not seeing his daughter for MONTHS, by arguing against Gwen being a vigilante despite the all the good shes done. When Gwen says “you’re a good cop,” she’s not saying “youre a good person” or “youre a good dad”. She’s saying “youre a BAD person. You’re a BAD dad. you value the law over my life, no matter what I do. You’re willing to sacrifice me for what you assume is the greater good, but it’s not even that.”
So he decides not be a good cop anymore.

What do you want to happen to your body when you die?
cremated/burned
buried
mummification or some shit like that
entombed in a mausoleum of some kind, above ground
I haven't thought about it but I don't really care
I've thought about it a lot and decided I don't care
I have some weird hyperspecific request that I'm excited to tell in the notes
do you think the porn bots ever accidentally message each other and end up in an endless loop of sending each other virus links

we need to fully bring back disco. no pastiche: no discowave or ironic disco. no being ironic about the clothes. just wear what you would’ve worn in the 70s. no white washing the historical black and lgbt aspects. pure expression of dance and music and love and loss and sexuality. dead serious about all of this and frowning as i write it at the prospect that this won’t be what happens when the covid curve is flat. we need disco back again with zero irony or pretense. NOW.
BTS are trying, y'all.

I don’t want to ‘piss off a terf’, I want to make sure other trans people in my life are safe
People reblogging this with ‘but making terfs mad is fun tho’ or ‘why not both’ are missing the point.
The comfort and safety of those affected by bigotry will always be more important than a game of internet gotcha.
Same with jewish people. The safety and comfort of jewish people is of utmost importance, not simply or just fighting against nazis. The victims of bigotry are of utmost importance.
Black Lives come before ACAB, Jewish people come before punching Nazis, Trans safety comes before pissing off terfs.
Also, when you make posts like “reblog to piss off a terf” that are deliberately centered around provoking bigots, you know that shows up in everyone’s feed right? Including your friends who those bigots target? Who maybe just want to get through a few funny posts without being reminded of their trauma?
Like, if you want to respond to a post that is about making a marginalized group safe with “do this to anger their bigots” then whatever but when you make posts that exist only to anger the bigots you’re also risking triggering people who don’t need to constantly be reminded of their trauma and reason for anxiety.
