small detail I kind of love is that grace’s initial theory is never proven correct

he never finds a life form that doesn’t need water. So many other movies would’ve had a moment where he realizes his paper was right, and everyone else was wrong for doubting him. But no, and it kind of gives a beautiful message about how even with a big failure that seems completely shattering, you can still go on and do something meaningful with your life and discover great things

I think it is very easy to forget how much of a badass Grace really is

It's really really easy to only focus on the moments were he ran, where he was hurt, where he was vulnerable or visibly sad... But don't forget that he did SO -

Grace might be devastatingly human - which is honestly why I love him. He's also tremendously resourceful, intellegent and honestly? Badass!
