This Mento Dynasty Album is a Tribute to all the Foundation Players of Mento Music which originated from Jamaica..Jerry Harris 's Father Duke Harris is a mento,calypsonian and jazz player from Port Antonio, Portland.Jamaica West Indies who inspired him to make this New masterpiece!Jerry was also influenced by The Jolly Boys another mento band from Port Antonio, Jamaica and which had great commercial success in the late 1940s to the 1990s among reggae and world music fans.
Jerry visited Jamaica in 2018 and he had the opportunity to work with 2 original members of the Jolly Boys band on 2 tracks on this new album Mento Dynasty..songs like Beach Party Time and Come and walk with me!
