“Maybe it’s because they don’t want to tell you about the tragedy that’s going on back there.” Lachlan shrugged their shoulders before offering a cheeky grin. “Rosanna Weaslebee and the ‘ass incident’ 2023. –Also you are literally asking people to be judgey? What are you doing, Rosa?”
“The TRAGEDY? I could really really cry right now, bawl my eyes out, cry a river like Justin Timberlake, fuck,” she started to whine, though there was a laughter that came through, as she started to play more with her pants. “What I’m ALWAYS doing -- spicing things up. Keeping things fresh. The people need my presence and my arse on point, I need my arse on point. What are you doing? Rosanna’s is a nice name, especially coming from the Lachlan monster.”
“Kind of feel like the cousin bit outweighs the best friend bit here, Rosie. You should have gone to Lach instead. All good, though, no need to start having an existential crisis today. Ass emergency averted.”
“Hmm, I dunno, I feel like I know some purebloods that might disagree with you but! See! I can’t believe people say you’ve got no style when you’ve clearly got taste. This is why you’ll become Minister along with Lou and solve all the wixen world’s problems -- you solved an ass emergency in less than a minute.”
“You have the most fantastic arse I’ve ever seen,” Lilibet deadpanned, not once looking up from her book. It was an enormous volume bound in some kind of green hide, and it wiggled a bit whenever she turned the page. “An arse sculpted by the gods I’d say.”
“Listen, I know you’re being sarcastic or DEAD but I’ll take it,” Rose wiggled around, shimming a bit before letting her shirt hang back down to her hips. “Which gods? That’s actually an even more important questions, because, there’s just some gods out there I wouldn’t want to sculpt my arse. Not in the slightest.” Looking at the book Lilibet was reading, Rose cocked her head to the side. “Did you kill a dragon and use it as your book cover?”
“Does my arse look good in these jeans? I can’t decide,” Rose frowned, pulling her shirt up, her body butt first as she approached them. “I’ve been asking for opinions ALL DAY but people have been judgey and boring and I just need a good opinion, y’know? Bloody hell.”

PERSONALITY:
Loyal: “You take care of everyone, my love, but who is taking care of you?” & “I like messy people; people who don’t fit in a box or stay between the lines, but who’s integrity is greater than any rule book and who’s loyalty is stronger than blood.” You will never have a friend or family member more loyal than Rose Minerva Weasley. Never. Sorted into Hufflepuff due to this trait ( and due the fact that she wanted to be near the kitchens ), Rose would die for you, she’d kill for you ( though she’d rather not but if it came down to it, she would ), but most importantly — she’d always be by your side. Growing up, she’d always try to get to know each and every family member and do something they loved. She never wanted any of them to feel like they were unloved, which translated into all of the friendships she had. Despite the fact that being part of her family feels as if there is a weight on her shoulders that may indeed break her back, her family means e v e r y t h i n g to her, the people she loves mean everything to her, and she makes sure they know it and proves it to them in some way — even at the sake of her own health or sanity.
Reckless: “I could never bear the idea of anyone expecting anything from me. It always made me just want to do the opposite.” & “Maybe you need to feel you’re falling, falling, falling into the abyss, in order to dare spread your wings.” Often times in school, Rose does stunts that could easily compromise her life. People would think she did this for attention but the fact of the matter was and still is, Rose does them because she has the need to test herself. To test how far she can go, and not at all for attention. It gave her a weird, strange sense of accomplishment each time she didn’t die. She loves testing herself to the limits, because it’s one of the only things she felt she had control of to test herself in: herself and her body. At times she has gotten actually hurt, almost drowning in the Black Lake her fifth year and more recently almost getting alcohol poisoning — having to get her stomach pumped — which contributes to the idea that people think she does it for attention. Truly, she doesn’t, she just loves to test herself, though it goes deeper than that. Often teenagers, young adults feel as if they are indestructible and Rose never really felt so. She felt always so breakable, always watched and was compared to her other family members for the great things they did. It helps her prove to herself that while she’ll never be a hero, she is in some way indestructible. That she’s worthy of being the daughter of Hermione Granger & Ron Weasley, and often likes the confidence it gives her.
Low Self Worth: “And you make jokes because you’re afraid to take anything seriously. Because if you take things seriously, they matter.“ Though she’d deny it in a heartbeat, Rose has low self worth. Don’t confuse this with low self-esteem ( though this may also be true as well, still she’d deny it ), but she feels as if she is an expendable part of the Delacour-Weasley-Potter ( DelaWotter ) clan – even though she had no basis for this feeling. There are so many people in the joint families, including the few god-siblings, her death, her dying, she feels as if would hardly make a dent. She’s really always been a major disappointment of sorts — and she knows it ( though they love her all the same, she feels like she’s disappointed them all ). Living up to being Hermione Granger’s daughter was something she knew from a young age she could never once do — so she didn’t try. All the expectations placed upon her shoulders, she threw out the window like the joints at her house she wasn’t supposed to be smoking, and while she acts like it doesn’t bother her — it does. Still, Rose will be Rose, and logically she knows that ever living up to who her parents are would never happen — it’s not like there’s a war where she could prove herself in ( at least, there wasn’t) — but sometimes she just looks around herself at family gatherings and thinks they’d be better off without their disappointment of a child. Because really, Rose is brilliant in her own way, but she’d never apply herself truly, why start now?
Loud: “Well behaved women rarely make history.” & “ You’re only given one spark of madness, you mustn’t lose it.” Rose will be Rose, which includes her loud mouth. Rose has never been one to hide her opinions as well as lower her voice. The type of girl you definitely hear before you see, Rose is loud. Boisterous and loud. With Rose’s loudness, also comes her lack of a proper filter. In fact, Rose usually speaks before she thinks. You always know where you stand with Rose, which may be a plus to this. Though, the things that are most important to her are the ones she thinks about and rarely shares. You’d think a girl so loud would have expressed her feelings about how she feels about herself, but she never has, unless it’s in one of her comedy routines or sketches. With this loudness, comes unfailing sass, often always having a quip or two in her pocket to use on anyone.
Self-Depreciating: “I’m just being self-depreciating for the sake of my own masochistic amusement.” Making fun of herself and her family, but mostly fun of herself has helped her make a living. In school. it was also her shield to any bullying, rudeness and the like. When she did so, she saw how it made people laugh, so she thought to herself, why wouldn’t it now? The more people laugh at her self-depreciative jokes, the more it confirms what she already believes about herself and attributes to her low self-worth. To her, all jokes hold truth, which is why they’re so funny in the first place, and the ones about her are no exception.
Blunt: “She’s mad but she’s magic, there’s no lie in her fire.” Like it was mentioned above, you always know where you stand with Rose and as well as mentioned she doesn’t have a real filter. In her comedy, practically no one ( friend, family, foe, even the Wizarding World ) is safe, and if you ask her for an opinion she’ll usually just give it. Unapologetically, Rose shares her opinions and in her comedy bits makes fun of the world around her, as well as the people around her, not in a malicious way — just because her filter is so lacking in that respect, she can’t help but say what she does. Rose lives by the philosophy of “if you wouldn’t say it to their face, don’t say it at all” and with the tenacity she has, she easily lives by it.
Sensitive: “I give a fuck. I give lots of fucks actually. I’m a prostitute of feelings.” Deep down, Rose is a sensitive soul, but masks this with the rest of her personality. She’s not sensitive in the way that she feels everything but in the way that the little comments people make stay with her, and wound her deeply. The little comments have shaped her, things said even in passing that others have probably long forgotten. It’s easy to forget though, with the bad habits and vices she has, Rose tries to escape them all. No matter how many times Rose will swear up and down that she doesn’t care, there’s a part of her that does care, very very much.
Additional Traits: Loving, Impulsive, Humorous, Clumsy. Rose is clumsy in the way Peter Parker is, pre-Spider bite. Though, she’s definitely not as uncoordinated, if she isn’t trying to be coordinated she’ll easily stub her toes on things, trip over herself, just normal dumbass things. If she is trying, the three areas she really tries in are: food related things, pick up Quidditch — even then she just likes wacking the bludgers around at people — and when she does her “gonna get laid dance” in clubs. Even then, she sometimes fucks it up and doesn’t always have the right music. Added fact: that song is one of her favorite songs and she actually enjoyed the US version of Skins. Genuine, Gluttonous ( when it comes to food ).
DIVING IN FURTHER:

Style: “A flannel a day keeps the healers, doctors and fuckoffs away.“ Flannels are her staple. If anyone was ever stuck on what to get her for Christmas or her birthday, all they’d have to get her is a flannel t-shirt. She’s never been the type of girl to need much, really, as long as she has clean underwear ( of course a few lacy thongs as well ), a good bra, and some sort of form of pants, a snack, she’s fine to go. Her favorite type of shoes to wear are anything slip on. Whether they be muggle Uggs, flip flops, anything that can get her out of the house quickly, unless she’s lazing around all day, she’ll wear special foot slippers which massage her feet. Her style is definitely something she needs to work on, though she just really likes comfortability and doesn’t really care what other people think about how she looks. As long as she likes it and is comfortable, she’s good. Rose also will steal other members of her family’s clothes, letting them know she did, after the fact, unless she weaseled the clothes out of them, asking nicely and promising they’ll come back in good health. It’s a gamble if they do or don’t, really.
Bad Habits:
Burning things. Rose firmly believes that burning things can be a cleansing, badass, and empowering experience and things that are no longer needed or give her “bad juju” should be burned.
Putting an excess of peanut butter and cream cheese on any of her bread, even fancy schmancy bread. Her favorite bread is challah bread but she’ll still ruin any sort of bread with it.
Practically binging on food then not eating for the rest of the day, sometimes day and a half or always eating. With Rose, when it comes to food, her habits are nothing normal, but because she’s never really had to the food shopping before, she’s extremely forgetful when it comes to actually buying it. This will often times make her buy a ton of food in the hopes of being able to spread it apart of a number of days, but will end up eating it all in less than two days. She’s also prone to ordering take out.
Painting her nails then ripping off the polish right after it’s dry. Not only is it a waste of Lily’s nail polish, it’s really bad for her finger nails and makes it impossible for her to get a manicure.
Indulgences:
Flannels and pot. Rose had only dared try anything heavier than pot only a few times and decided it wasn’t for her. Still, she really does enjoy smoking weed, seeing as it has sometimes helped her come up with her best tinkering ideas for WWW and comedic ideas for her shows. Relaxing at school when she can sneak it in.
She doesn’t like spending money on alcohol really seeing as it’s more expensive most of the time, and will barely do so, going to bars and letting people hit on her, then taking the drink and showing them how obnoxious she can really be. But, if she had an indulgence when it came to alcohol, it would be raspberry Vodka.
As a self proclaimed ‘foodie’, Rose loves splurging and going to new up and coming restaurants and taking pictures of the food. I headcanon that this is a thing she does especially to take her parents out to eat ( with the money she makes at WWW ), as she spoiling them & also justifying her want to eat out.
Rose also likes buying things for her family or friends, no matter what the occasion is even if there isn’t. If she sees something just walking down the street that she thinks or knows one of her family members or friends would like or need, she doesn’t think twice in buying it. It’s really not her trying to bribe them, or buy their love, she just really likes the feeling of giving things to them because they’re her world.
Don’t worry if people think you’re crazy. You are crazy. You have that kind of intoxicating insanity that lets other people dream outside of the lines and become who they’re destined to be.
Once you get a taste for the really substantial, really important roles, you don’t want to go back to anything else. Recently I shot an indie film, a really low-budget indie film. I think it has a great story, but I had to play a female role manufactured by men, for men. You know, we have to take the jobs sometimes because I have rent to pay and things like that. You’ve got to do what you’ve got to do, but it’s tough when you’re also playing a kick-ass princess on TV.
