I’m apologizing ahead of time for this rant because some people won’t read it or they won’t care.
I have a really hard time, with people who joke, or laugh about depression,self-harm,anxiety, and expecially suicide. It mentally hurts me to hear that, I’ve cried at school because of it before. It happened a little today, around friends, and family. I’m not exactly saying “Hey stop joking around me!” Because I understand if joking about it is your way to cope, but I’d rather you just talk to mw about it instead of joking. I can mentally and emotionally feel peoples emotions and when you joke about it, or flat out say “I want to kill myself” it actually ruins my mood, for either a day or a week. I know i should be able to just control how I feel but sometimes I can’t. It hits straight home. This rant also goes along with, you should always treat people nicely, you NEVER know what battle they could be fighting or how they feel. Things you do and say, will stick with people FOREVER. Anyone, let me repeat that, ANYONE, in this world, can suffer from a mental illness that they can not help but have, and it’s good for us humans to help them grow and overcome that, yeah its tough, but it’s worth it. I just want everyone that has gone through some deep and horrible shit, that I love you, you are strong, I beleive you can overcome the bad monsters in your head, and for everyone to know I am here for you. Talking to me is not a bothersome, I will listen to understand, I will not listen to reply. I love you
