One driver already quit and NASCAR responded with basically “we had to google you because nobody knew who the fuck you were”
Nascar started because they said fuck cops and its nice to see they havent lost their roots completely.
That is the sexiest thing a corporation ever said.

[ID: Tweet by @carson_tueller “Ableism looks like calling disabled people ‘inspiring’ for navigating a system that is designed for their exclusion, while doing nothing to hold the system accountable. #ableism #disabled #accesstolife “]
Please, *please* stop telling me I’m “inspiring” because I’ve managed to survive despite how much harder everything is for me due to my disabilities. Take that inspiration and use it to make disabled people’s lives easier, please, or shove it straight up your ass.
That’s the thing. People look at disabled folks struggling to get by in life and instead of thinking “isn’t it awful that someone has to jump over so many hurdles to accomplish things that we take for granted; we should improve accommodations for disabled people”, they go “OMG sooooooo inspirational!! 🤪” like we’re not film protagonists or Teachable Moments to make you feel better about life in general. This kind of attitude makes it *more* difficult for us to get by in life, because people are too invested in the whole “marginalised hero finds success against all odds uwu” narrative to actually assist us.
it’s like we’ve all been conditioned to fight for the underdog and love stories about marginalized people succeeding against the odds while also being conditioned to never question why those people are underdogs in the first place or how changing that would removes the need for the whole big fight in the first place
No to mention that it alienates and further marginalizes the “uninspirational” disabled people. The ones who no matter who hard they try, the hurdles are too much. This is particularly true for intersectional disabled people, those facing oppressions on different levels. I don’t fucking care about living to “inspire” you, I just wanna live even if I don’t inspire anyone
another philosophical question that is very very related. is Chuck E Cheese a restaurant ?
absolutely not. it’s an arcade that happens to have “food”
I respectfully disagree, sir noctude, because arcades lack one thing that Chuck E. Cheese has, performers. So, you may ask, what businesses have games, food, and performers?
a casino
now this is some semantic bullshit i can get behind
we were meant to rely on one another actually, it’s just in capitalism’s best interests to make us think we don’t need other people and don’t owe anyone anything
OK I'm in the pussy 👍. Now what
