One thing I do like about this season, and Armand as a character in general in the show, is that whenever he enters a room, it is almost impossible for the comedic and lighthearted tone to remain when he is in the scene. Like "it's Lestat's hour," but when he's in a scene, he either makes the pace slow down and/or brings with him a feeling of eeriness or solemnity that wasn't there before, which it's a breather in this season given the stylistic choices made in general.
