"The Fallen Celestial Dragon" (1541 ASC)

“It is said that this painting appeared only a week before the downfall of then King of Dressrosa— Doflamingo Donquixote. A mysterious appearance, with no source to claim for said painting, nor any clue that could have indicated who it was other than the small signature laid at the bottom right of the canvas, and the writings of the artwork’s title and date on the back of the canvas. 

Those who had first found the artwork in their hands quickly rid themselves of it, passing it over and over, knowing that if the infamous Heavenly Demon were to find them with the artwork, they would sooner be dead, or worse, completely erased without a trace. Even in the Underworld, most knew better than to provoke the man aptly named “Joker”, unpredictable as he is. It was only a week after the events in Dressrosa transpired that the painting, ominous and foreshadowing as it was, started to emerge and gather fame once more. Not just in the circles of underworld traders, but above the surface that usually covered the Underworld’s filth. A painting that had not only shown a mockery of a celestial dragon, fallen as he may be, but rather a prophetic downfall of the man who had desperately tried to find his way back to his holy roots. 

Once the painting had started to gain fame, it has been said that the Five Elder Stars of the Holy Land demanded for the original artwork to be handed over regardless of price. However, the painting has long since gone missing since the day Doflamingo Donquixote had fallen off his throne and into the belly of Impel Down. Up until now, many speculate on its origins, with a few claiming it must have been from one of the Straw Hat Pirates who had been the one to bring the Heavenly Demon down, painting the work as a mockery and a show of arrogance knowing their captain would be the one to bring the man down. A few others, with knowledge of the World Government's sins, claim that the painter is a long lost prophet that had survived a massacre by the World Government.

Having seen this artwork recently, I couldn’t tell you who it was or what they meant when they created this. Did they know what would happen? Were they a citizen of Dressrosa, robed in a pseudonym for anonymity, hoping the painting would ring true someday? Regardless, this was the artwork that drove me to start searching for traces of this mysterious painter. To find the hands that were just as steeped in blood as those they paint.”

saw an elderly woman walking around with a tote bag whose design were the four AO3 fic category squares and she very excitedly asked if i was a reader or a writer bcs nobody else at the con had recognized it, and after telling her that i've been writing fic since fanfic.net, she solemnly nodded and explained that she'd been reading fic since "the days of personal websites" but that she only started writing fanfic when she was 47 and oh my god when i tell you that i genuinely teared up on the spot!!!!! like!!! HELL YEAH???? LITERALLY NEVER TOO OLD TO START WRITING. NEVER TOO OLD TO WRITE AND SHARE YOUR FIC.

her enthusiastic "i'm a very nice and bubbly person, i swear! but i love writing angst and major character death :)" nearly took me the fuck out.

Belated Happy Halloween, Somewhat Belated Merry Christmas, and an advanced Happy New Year to everyone! Just made a few drawings for the holidays because why not, it was the only hobby I could do during my finals. Besides, I just thought it'd be nice to update this blog with something.

Hope you guys are having a good time spending the holidays! I'm trying to use my holiday vacation the most I can before my course program finds a way to corner me with lab work and tests again.

Honestly, I've been having a hard time trying to update the fanfic because I've been having this bad hyperfixation on playing Minecraft lately, and it's been really hard to pull myself out of it. So yeah, sorry about that. When I can finally focus on anything that isn't Minecraft again, I'll try to make up for the long time of no chapters with a double chapter update. That's all, have fun with the holidays everyone!

Hello, I'm the writer of Very Normal Fanfic on AO3. If you somehow found me through other things and not for my fanfic, well... Hello? What are you doing here? You're welcome here but also why. Where did you come from.

That aside, this account will most likely be used for my fanfic, especially since I'm new to using this platform at all. I will mostly be posting art for this fanfic. If, by any chance, I get more comfortable using this as time passes, I might start talking more about the fanfic itself.

Questions for my fanfic or other stuff will accepted, I'll try to answer them. Honestly speaking, I love the replies that everyone leaves on the fanfic, and it encourages me every time to continue writing. Although I don't reply, that doesn't mean I don't care. I really appreciate the love for the story.
