Y'know I've been on this site a while now and it just occurred to me that I should probably make an actual intro post?

I go by Ruby online, I'm an out and proud trans woman, I'm a lesbian, I was born in 2003. (I have no concept of time so that's there in case I forget to update my age in my bio) Here's what I look like in case any femmes wanna jump my dms :3

Anyway. I'm in a few fandoms but I'd say my main interests are Ben 10, Marvel, and PJO. I'm an aspiring writer, all my original works are on hold rn while I get practice but I have several wip fics. Mostly Ben 10 crossovers. The main fic I'd call my baby is called Omniversal Exile. It's about a woman formerly known as Ben Tennyson rediscovering herself and her heroism through the Avengers after years of travelling the multiverse as essentially a ronin. I had a commission for a render of her done by @pilot-boi a while ago so this is her if that sounds interesting to you.

And of course lemme get the obvious out of the way. I support my LGBTQIA+/BIPOC siblings. All of them. The constructs of gender, race, and sexuality don't decide who you are. Your life experiences associated with them might but I think people should be judged by their merits and actions. Not any sort of qualities as that's silly.

I love the riordanverse so much but tbh it's always had flaws. It's rubbed me the wrong way for years that Percy deliberately repeats Odysseus' mistake and doesn't kill Polyphemus. I mean a big theme of Sea of Monsters is that there's good monsters and bad people and that there's nuance to this world. Percy notes the difference between Polyphemus and Tyson. The cruelty and entitlement in the elder cyclops. Yet he spares him because he's the same kind as Tyson. The same kid that helped his mom murder his stepdad refuses to kill a monster after slaying dozens of others. It's especially strange cause killing him would be a mercy compared to what Odysseus did. I dunno.

I just saw some Valgrace fic on my dash and aside from them both being egregiously out of character the most baffling part is it was a smut fic and while I'm not a prude I'm convinced they did not read the books because no way in hell is Jason NOT a bottom.

That's a sweet boy that will follow around his boyfriend like a sheep dog. Not to mention Esperanza Valdez didn't raise a fool. Ain't no way Leo is letting some white boy push him around.

Yeah I used bottom as a shorthand cause he was this alpha wolf top in the fic and that's just so incorrect but like more specifically I mean submissive. I'm not deeply invested in this but I specified bottom cause I feel like Jason would be a pillow princess.
