Lisa nodded her head with a smile , looking at the boy that stopped to talk to her. “ It’s disgustingly a big one ..But I’m pretty sure you can win this battle “ She told him with a laugh motioning for him to come over.
“Uh, okay, well, I can try.” He went over to look at the spider, then jumped back when he saw it. “Oh, wow, yeah, that’s disgustingly big all right.” He paused. “Uh, do you have any insecticide or something? Or a flamethrower?”
“ Oh..sorry Rupert. I have a spider problem ..”
“Oh. Right. Yeah, that makes a lot more sense.” He laughed awkwardly. “Uh, how big are we talking? Because if it isn’t too big, I can help you, if you want.”
“ Gross.. move “ she groaned barley touching the spider with the duster. Lisa knew she had to tackle this porch at sometime , but the weather was nicer so she didn’t have an excuse. “ Just die already..” she said coldly.

Uh, I mean, if I had a date, then yeah, I would, but, uh, that’s never really come up. Halloween candy is awesome -- Valentine’s Day candy is just more fancy, usually.
Really? I don’t usually buy them on V day, I buy other kinds of gifts, like jewelry and teddy bears, stuff like that.
Yeah, I don’t really buy things for Valentine’s Day, but sometimes I’ll be at the grocery store or something the next day and the candy is on sale, so I get some. It’s like Halloween, but it’s usually nicer candy.
No, not really, it’s kind of cool actually, because my birthday is on a day that celebrates love, so that’s cool.
Oh. That’s really nice. Plus, you get discounted chocolate and stuff the next day.
