When she opens the door that evening, there isn't a trace of the thief. Just that of a lowly bulldog sitting down at the entrance to her cabin with a note attached to the collar. It reads: "For when you can't have a best friend on board. Love, Kas"

For a long few minutes after she opens the door, she just stands there. Just stares down at the little dog, unsure what to do with it. She’s gotten weird presents before, especially after that one magazine thought it’d be a good idea to leak her apartment’s location, but this..?

When she reads the note, though, she can’t help but smile. “Kasumi Goto, what the hell am I going to do with a dog?” she speaks, but more to the dog than even herself.

Nevertheless, she picks him up and takes him inside.
