I'm Ryan and this is my little intro post 👋
This is my new studyblr after my last one was lost to time (who knows what e-mail and password I used, I don't even remember my username).
I'm thirty years old, I love cute things and I approach studying like a beloved hobby.
In 2015, I entered university to get a bachelor's degree in translation and interpreting. After some bureaucratic difficulties with missing documentation, I finally graduated this year - despite having completed all required credits in 2020.
While I was waiting for my diploma, I signed up for an extended course on translation in the healthcare field. I currently work as a medical and social interpreter.
I'm now pursuing a bachelor's degree in history because education is affordable here and I really enjoy the subject; a lot of it can be applied to the social aspect of my work, but I'm mostly doing this because I enjoy it.
I'm also in a postgraduate program in neuropsychology, since a lot of my work involves interpreting behavioral health situations and I have plans to delve into some research I can't say much about at the moment.
The big plan is to write research books in the future, maybe some academic work... we'll see if I can get into the scientific initiation at my university next year.
