Rahu is so misunderstood..
This post might trigger many cause rahu is disliked and they’re gonna want to oppose and replace it with a different collection of planets. I do not want to hear it. As a Ketu dominated individual one thing i love love love about rahu energy they’re shamelessly obsessive in their interests/ desires and persuits and it gets them so far. I think the hate is to some degree jealousy lmfao.
Life literally has no choice but to let them have their way when they embody themselves -this is exactly because they’re obsessive. This is also where the manipulative aspect of this energy gets projected on to rahu because it WILL get its way. But it’s not afraid of practical ways of going about it— one of its homes is literally in a saturnian rasi —it just won’t restrict itself to that avenue alone. The energy that might be more avoidant of practical pursuits and may especially depend on manipulation (for typically.. only comfort’s sake) : is moon influence. Rahu it self doesn’t actually care, it works in convenience and sometimes comforts are not convenient-they will simply move on if they feel they must. This is where the identity-less aspect often projected on rahu comes about. But they are not identity-less, when you really think about it they’re the most identified. They’re exploring a bunch of different things that stimulates that itch within themselves. They are not identity-less in the ketuvian sense- ketu identity-less-ness is the “i know myself but ..do i really?” rahu identity -lessness is “idk myself but let’s find out” both energies are inside their own personalized projections of self ; and in an almost constant unconscious (or conscious) reflection of it. They shift/ they move , and are very shameless and open about it(especially rahu). Ketu doesn’t have shame we appear more esoteric /are more inclined to look to the past as a means to self reflection and self identity. Largely because we just trust it more. But for rahu they know how to work in a manner to make their own living more stimulating for themselves and almost enviously functional in its way too. Rahu is the pure human biological impulse to keep on going, it’s a very necessary part of human function abandoning it for spiritual “enlightenment” is a trap that will have you controlled by the exact destructive forces of rahu that are so disdained.
Signs of having a strong rahu not having shame in being obsessive or relentlessly concentrated and of course remembering you’re human and to give yourself a break sometimes. Of course there is no rahu without ketu and truth be told we are very similar. Rahu is just more transparent in its tendencies and to a degree can be quite ‘superficial’ because often its interests are coming from modern filtered or derived things-ketu can have the same problems honestly but we cling to history so we never quite loose ourselves in our consumption activities. Rahu is where innovation arrives ;its home in the air signs for a reason. And everybody secretly loves rahu— lovers that shamelessly pine, a crush that invigorates you, activists who relentlessly press on, people who are obsessive ab an aesthetic or lifestyle that stimulates them - it all seems useless because well.. we all will be 6 ft under eventually right? but it gives life a sense of direction in the mean time at least. Rahu is where you truly go to personalize your developing self. Listening to what truly entices you - being able to also separate but also leverage collective interests from your own -into your own , with your own. In the end creating a balanced nodal axis. Truth be told though, there is no strong rahu without a strong ketu and there is no strengthened ketu without an engaged rahu.
BHRIGU NANDI NADI - extremely accurate technique
You guys Brighu Nandi Nadi is the best thing in Vedic astrology. So simple, so jaw dropping, so eye wateringly correct that it becomes so hard to not state the fact that reincarnation for sure exists.
Like, the way it can make predictions about a chart..... I swear it's the real deal. I know I am not as active as I used to be but I am still learning allot and I have been using BNN all this time but now I have started using it with our karkas and it is so freaking hellishly correct it gave me palpitations when I applied it to my chart.
All this time my only error was that I was using it with natural karkas like father is represented by sun and mother is moon which still gives good predictions but the karkas that you have in your chart as representation of your father or mother or spouse that and this BNN technique just flips the whole freaking game.
Let me tell you a little about karkas so there are total 8 karaks:
AK (Atmakaraka): The King. The Soul's ultimate desire and your core operating system.
AmK (Amatyakaraka): The Minister. How you execute your goals, your career, and your action-taker.
BK (Bhratrukaraka): The Guru. Your mentors, siblings, and the grinding effort that guides you.
MK (Matrukaraka): The Mother. Maternal figures, maternal lineage, maternal ancestors,, domestic comfort, and the tribe.
PiK (Pitrukaraka): The Father. Paternal figures, paternal lineage, paternal ancestors, government, and authority.
PuK (Putrakaraka): The Children. Your followers, your intellect, and your creations.
GK (Gnatikaraka): The Obstacles/Relatives. Your enemies, debts, litigation, and internal anxieties. (Lol did you guys notice how in vedic astrology obstacles and relatives are same? The fact that most relatives likes to create gossips and obstacles for us and wishes for downfall not all but most is very prevalent in vedic and therefore shows them as one karka)
DK (Darakaraka): The Spouse. Your partner, alliances, and the marketplace. (yes darakarka also represents marketplace not a lot of people know this.)
Now, here is where the BNN magic happens. In Bhrigu Nandi Nadi, you don't just use the regular Ascendant. You take a planet and treat IT as the ascendant. When you combine this with Karakas, it's literal witchcraft i kid you not. You make your Karaka the Lagna and see what's sitting 2nd from it, 12th from it, conjunct it, etc.
Before we get into the examples, here is your ultimate cheat sheet for what the houses mean when counting FROM your Karaka:
1st from Karaka: The core energy! Any planet sitting here merges completely with it. It represents the physical body, the literal presence, the inherent nature, and the immediate environment the Karaka finds itself in.
2nd from Karaka: What feeds it, its immediate future, its bank account/sustenance, its family(kutumb). This shows what the planet steps into next, its literal resources, its voice, and whatever practically sustains its existence.
3rd from Karaka: The effort it has to put in, its courage, and short movements. It represents the manual labor, willpower, skills, hobbies, younger siblings, and the immediate, aggressive actions required to activate this planet.
4th from Karaka: Where it seeks peace/rest, its "throne," its ultimate comfort zone. This is its home base, real estate, motherly care, inner psychological happiness, and the absolute secure foundation it rests upon.
5th from Karaka: What it creates, its natural intelligence, what it gives birth to, its past life good karmas and its future progression. It also shows romance, fun, progeny (literal children or creative projects), and the driving force of its destiny.
6th from Karaka: Its obstacles, debts, enemies, and daily struggles. This is the literal warzone. Diseases, litigation, competitors, the service it must render to others, and the intense friction it must overcome to survive.
7th from Karaka: Its mirror, its partnerships, who it interacts with directly. The public-facing side, business partners, the spouse, legal contracts, and the direct, open opposition it faces in the world.
8th from Karaka: Its hidden secrets, sudden shocks, trauma, and deep transformation. The occult, intense research, sudden ups and downs, other people's money, inheritances, and the psychological breaking points that force a rebirth.
9th from Karaka: Its fortune, luck, divine guidance, and protection. Higher education, deep belief systems, long-distance travel, gurus/teachers, and the shield of dharma/past-life merit that protects the planet.
10th from Karaka: Its status, its karma, what it actually does in the real world. The public reputation, authority, the boss, career achievements, and the heavy structural duties it must fulfill for society.
11th from Karaka: Its ultimate gains, its network, and fulfillment of its desires. Large social circles, older siblings, profits, incoming cash flow, and the realization of its highest long-term hopes.
12th from Karaka: Its immediate past, what it leaves behind, its subconscious, or its losses. Isolation, foreign lands, expenditures, spiritual release (Moksha), hidden enemies, and the background karmic pressure pushing it forward.
Okay, I am going to gatekeep this a little bit, sorry! But this technique can so easily be used for bad purposes and it literally doesn't have any vagueness to it, so I am not going to explain in deep, dangerous detail about BNN. But this much info is enough for you to get started a little at least!
Let me give you some random examples to show you how insane this is:
Example 1: The Darakaraka (Spouse) and the 12th from it In BNN, the 12th house from any planet represents its immediate past, its background, or what it leaves behind. Let’s say your DK (Spouse) is Jupiter. If you have Ketu sitting exactly in the 12th house from your Jupiter, it literally means your future spouse will have a history of suddenly cutting ties, massive spiritual detachment, or they will enter your life after completely walking away from a major part of their past. You are reading your spouse's hidden history just by looking one house behind your DK!
Example 2: The Amatyakaraka (Career) and the 2nd from it The 2nd house from any planet shows what feeds it, its bank account, and its immediate future. If your AmK is the Moon, and you have Mars sitting 2nd from the Moon... Mars represents engineering, logic, tools, and aggressive effort. Your career (AmK) is literally fed by Martian things. Every time you take a step forward in your career, you step into a highly technical, argumentative, or action-packed environment.
Example 3: The Gnatikaraka (Enemies/relatives) in the 4th from your Atmakaraka (Soul) The 4th from a planet is where it seeks peace, its "throne," and its home base. If your GK (obstacles/stress) is sitting 4th from your AK... your soul literally cannot find peace at home. Every time you try to relax or settle into a domestic routine, an obstacle, a debt, or a rival shows up. Your "safe space" biologically feels like a battlefield.
Example 4: Planets Conjunct the Pitrukaraka (Father/Bosses) In BNN, planets sitting in the exact same sign merge their energies. If someone has their PiK sitting in the exact same sign as Rahu (illusions/unorthodox things/foreigners), their father or their bosses will always be out-of-the-box, maybe a bit deceptive, or heavily involved in foreign or disruptive technologies. They will literally project Rahu energy onto you whenever they try to act like an authority figure.
AND WAIT, the absolute craziest part?? WE HAVEN'T EVEN CONSIDERED THE NAKSHATRAS YET!!! 😭
If you add Nakshatras and their lords, natural karkas, natural house lords and other d-charts on top of this Karaka/BNN technique, it becomes literally explosive. Like, why why why is it so good??? It goes from giving you the blueprint of the house to giving you the exact GPS coordinates, the names of the people involved, and the password to the front door. I can't even get into it right now or my brain will actually short circuit.
Guys, open your charts right now. Find your Karakas. Make them the 1st house and just look at what is sitting right next to them (2nd house) or right behind them (12th house). It will read your life for filth! Just start with the base signs and houses first and let me know in the comments what crazy combinations you find!

Rohini acts like a baby but they truly are that sweet on the inside. However, sweetness turns into bypassing and sugarcoating. I loveee to use sugarcoating as an example of Moon nakshatras because Shodashi carries a sugarcane bow. This represents the Moon’s inherent thirst for Mommy’s milk.
Moon nakshatras are passively manipulative. As they desire to have their thirst quenched more anything, they desire the sweetness in all of creation more than anything else. They are willing to bypass and emotionally console. This causes the egos of others to grow larger and larger. It creates more space (Bhuvaneshwari) for others to feel comfortable. Depending on Jupiter (the comfort which consoles Moon) placement, Moon can find healthy ways to be nourished and comforted. Jupiter is the liberator from bypassing. The guru of our emotions. Our intuition which leads the way as Tara|Revati (Jupiter) leads the way. As Tara (Jupiter) breastfeeds Shiva (Consciousness) when he is a baby. Jupiter is a Mother’s protection over her child.
As Tara is pregnant, she is a warrior in a spiritual way as she is physically vulnerable.
The Mother’s intuition is primed for protection and survival in an astral sense. She becomes pure from the life force growing in her body. She inspires protection from other stronger beings as well. This is the feminine orientation of Jupiter. As explored before by other astrologers, Jupiter nakshatra men tend to display a protective nature over vulnerable beings. They can be pillow-soft comfort for gentle creatures to find comfort.
The more appealing side to lunar and jovial energy is the space which is infinite for us to reside in. It is the space our Mother first holds us in. That is ultimately what we become. (Pushya, who is both lunar and jovial in nature, is the most auspicious nakshatra as it signifies that the Mother held the child with grace when they were babies. The Mother successfully nourishes the child and prepares them for life by providing the adequate space and comfort for the child to develop. The negative side to Pushya is the Rapunzel trope… Pushya is Rapunzel).
Back to Rohini… this is my love letter to you. You are so sweet. You are like apples and cinnamon. Like daytime breezes and sunny afternoons. You’re naturally beautiful. I swear you don’t need makeup. Your body is curvy. Pillowy and soft. You are Chandra’s favorite after all… 🌹
i wish you were here
Don't you dare give up.
